Congrats to Foreverandever and xelance on their approvals! Excellent news! Isn't that a wonderful feeling inside when you finally see that approval??! Wow! I can't wait until I experience that feeling! I hope all here in the July group get that feeling very VERY soon!!!

I understand your frustration but posting a reply by saying "Very exciting until they lose your papers" is like saying you people will have your turn in line until you lose yours. That should never happen and I feel very bad for your situation but venting anger on the rest of the people and hoping they also lose the papers is not a good statement, may be your intent was different but such a post can be read in different ways.

Thank you for sharing - this is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. You're a lovely couple.

Thank you, and all of you for your comments.

One day we'll look back on these times with a lot of sorrow, but also with pride, because we have made so many friends during this epic struggle.

They always say struggles bring the fight, and the best out of people, and I am proud to be a part of this little bunch. I get stress relief out of producing and playing music. It soothes the savage breast as Shakespeare said.

Glad you enjoy it.

What timing, I just received my IRS Tax Transcripts.

The wife is heading down to Bangkok, 6 hour train ride, next Wednesday, to get her physical, birth certificate translated and police check.

During the K-1, she took the translated birth certificate and police check to the interview. I am trying to confirm that it is still that same process. Some of the guides say it has to be sent to NVC which would be a waste of time, money and resources.

Hi guys!

First congrats to Wade(hope your boy is better) and Sara, Xelance and all the rest for the aprovals!

I just got an email saying that ours got moved to AN USCIS office (didn't say CSC though) Now does it mean the local office or what?!?! I am really steaming mad here :ranting: ####### it's going on?!

I JUST saw the news about the 36.000 cases ..... and my jaw dropped!! They finally officially admitted the F**** -up!!!

Ohh, sorry to hear that. Not sure what that means, but if it's any consolation, we got a mail saying we had to wait 6 months for an additional review the day before we were approved.

It MAY mean they are on your case, and your errors may be fixed. I'm hopeful for you. good.gif

Here's my update: A few weeks ago we heard from our congressman that TSC had never touched our file and we would hear from them shortly. We did. About 2 weeks ago we received an RFE and, late last week, a hard copy stating that my divorce documents were not acceptable. We have resent them along with evidence provided by our lawyer showing that provincial law was changed in 1985 and the term "decree absolute" (DA) was dropped and replaced by the "judgment". Our lawyer has contacted and amassed evidence from the provincial courts that verify my documents as official, but the fact is that he sees the TSC action as retaliatory due to the congressman's intervention. This process has been very unjust to those of us who applied between mid-June and mid-August. For me, it's been easier to stay away from VJ and just drop in sporadically. I just have to have faith that we will be together some day in the not-too-distant future.

Bro, I think you may have misinterpreted Rachel's comments. Up till now, we've all been in the same boat, and we're all here to vent and more importantly, share helpful information and support one another.

Just my 2 cents :)

You seem to be attributing something to the post that was not there. No one else seemed to see the post as venting anger and hoping that others lose their papers as well, only you. I read frustrating that was specific to the poster's own situation coming through, and that is how others seem to have seen it as well. Regardless, you went on in later posts to challenge whether she was even telling the truth.

Your comments were found inappropriate and reported by more than one person, so perhaps you may wish to re-examine your own initial responses to a post and determine if you are reading the situation correctly yourself.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
