I got another touch today. I am surprised people are working at sunday too. By the way, I am wondering how many touches it need to get approved? Initailly, I was worried about not having touches at all. Now I am kinda worried if it will draw RFE. I hope not. My 5 months mark is appraoching. I read from others in another link that special cases are transferred to USCIS and the transfer is not normal. I am kinda worried about my case right now as it has been transferred from TSC to USCIS. I have not wanted anything so bad than approval in my life. God help us all

OK......I just got off the phone with the USCIS officer as I'm a nervous wreck about all this. I asked point blank if it is a BAD thing if 'OUR' case was sent to a USCIS office. I told her that on the 24th we got an E-mail stating that we were sent to a USCIS office. She said it is absolutley not negative if papers are sent to your local USCIS office and in our case it's due to expedite. I am praying with all my heart that all of us get our approvals soon and NO RFE's.....

PEACE EVERYONE!!! Good karma will be coming our way....I feel it in my bones...

The services we provide in our local offices primarily deal with problems relating to applications and petitions that have already been filed and which we have not been able to resolve through our website or by phone.

The problem is, the service centers were too busy to resolve them. Yes, they are simply sharing the workload I am sure! All the July filers can't be ALL problem cases! blink.gif

I agree with Val and Gary. I too was transfered to "a USCIS Office" on 11/24 and, knowing that this is usually done because there is a "problem", I was worried. Once I got on this site and realized that MANY others had the same transfer on/around the same date, I came to believe that this was not a transfer because of a problem but a "special situation" where the USCIS is looking for additional manpower to speed up the process and found it in the local offices.

Since we have the CHOICE to assume the best or assume the worst, I am assuming the best. I assume/believe this may significantly speed up our petition. Once it is here (in Minnesota) I can call and/or make an appointment with them. They have the autority to DO SOMETHING. I have previously been to our local USCIS office for questions and, although they were very nice, they told me they couldn't do anything because it was not "assigned to them".

Think positively. IT is going to happen before you know it.

I got a touch Sunday 11/28/10 and today 11/29/10.

These touches are interesting - and did you get the email about being transferred to USCIS office also?

I think they must know we're all becoming obsessive about checking our status, and doing it on purpose! tongue_ss.gif

Approvals MUST follow soon!! blink.gif
