Well what can we say about this noa2 approval for somebody who filed on January and got approved on Feb at CSC

Hi everyone! :)

So I haven't updated in a while because I didn't have any news. But I do now. I just checked the status of my I-130 for mom and I saw this message:

Post Decision Activity

On February 7, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So that's pretty wild isn't it? From what I've read on here, this seems unusually fast. Obviously, I'm not complaining by any means, I'm just kind of baffled (shocked I guess). So maybe this means there's a possibility that processing times are changing for the better right?

It couldn't be that I'm misunderstanding this message, could it? This is the step before the NVC right?

I understand that the whole filing process is not complete, but they are saying the I-130 is approved. That would mean it took 35 days, as opposed to 5 months.

Please let me know what you guys think. I'm really happy that this process is moving along so quickly.

Thanks

This is the very reason why I have been skeptical from the moment I got an email from Ms. Barrows on Monday.

If they keep this goddamn emotional roller coaster going, someone is going to snap and it won't be pretty.

I hope these "unforseen circumstances" weren't bigger than we thought. I keep telling myself that only FOUR files that we know of have ended up at NVC.

What HAS gone on at TSC?
