If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

Great news! I see your NOA1 date is 7/21. Mine is 7/27. Maybe I'll get approved AGAIN this week.

NATURALIZATION

02/25/2014 - Eligibility date.

03/03/2014 - N-400 package mailed.

03/11/2014 - Check cashed.

03/14/2014 - NOA received.

04/09/2014 - Biometrics.

04/28/2014 - In-Line for Interview - 6 hours later Interview Scheduled!!

05/02/2014 - Interview Letter received. (Mailed on 29 April)

05/26/2014 - 3 year anniversary.

06/02/2014 - Interview. PASSED!

09/11/2014 - Oath Ceremony.

09/16/2014 - Updated driver licence and registered to vote.

10/08/2014 - Updated Social Security

10/14/2014 - Applied for U.S. Passport

10/27/2014 - U.S. Passport arrived in mail (13 days - DID NOT expedite)

10/30/2014 - Naturalization Certificate arrived in mail (was not folded)

MY IMMIGRATION JOURNEY IS OFFICIALLY FINISHED!!

Wade, did you receive any official approval notice yet?

Nope, I am giving it until tonight. Angela said that I should see it on the USCIS website either yesterday or today. If nothing tonight, I will be raising hell again.

I did get a message from the US Ambassador, Krisite Kenney, in Thailand today through her Facebook account this morning. She is on her way to Chang Mai and will be returning to Bangkok by Friday. She said that she would personally look into it for me. She just took over the post a few months ago and has not familiarized herself with the Visa Unit protocols, I guess this is a great time to get familiar with it. So far I am impressed with her, the State Department had a write up about her recently on how she has been using Social Media. She has "Tweeted" and now communicated with me via "Facebook." I am confident that she has our best interest in mind although it is not much of a help to any of you outside of Thailand.

Regardless of what happens, or how long it takes, its really nice that someone is finally listening to you. Any updates on your son? You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, our son was released from the hospital yesterday with a ton of prescriptions. I cannot wait to get him back here, as soon as I have their flight scheduled, I will have an doctor's appointment set for him the following day.

Well I am happy he was released from the hospital and please even after this is all said and done, keep us posted on everything

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Don’t apologize! Your cases were consolidated into what we call and A-file today so that they would proceed together, so they should be with an officer tomorrow. I will update you by Friday, if not sooner.
