If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Don’t apologize! Your cases were consolidated into what we call and A-file today so that they would proceed together, so they should be with an officer tomorrow. I will update you by Friday, if not sooner.

because i have submitted I130 + I129...

I just got a similiar email from her today. Both of my petitions were approved 1/7 but still not at NVC, so I emailed her yesterday. She says, "She apologizes and I should get an update by Friday or sooner. So, I'll wait to see what happens.

I used to be excited to open my email every now and then thinking that i'll be receiving an email from USCIS TSC that my petition is already approved, until today that we heard the news that some cases were transferred again at CSC.

Honestly i don't know what to feel if I'm going to be happy if ever ill be transferred or be devastated....How I wish this will come to an end and all of us will be happy again with our husband/wife/family.

Oh God please help us to get through this.

believe it when I say it.. if your case is transferred back to CSC, it is a good thing. They have more than enough manpower to breeze through your case and send it off to NVC RIGHT AWAY! You wont be waiting around for 45 days like some TSC people have been waiting (or longer), it will be at NVC in 7 days. The transfer of some cases back to CSC is great news, wish they had done it sooner...but it is a step in the right direction. Best of luck to everyone.

02.17.2011 Case number assigned 02.18.2011 Case # & INN received. Gave email addresses. Emailed DS 3032. Paid AOS Fee 02.22.2011 AOS Fee appeared as paid. Mailed AOS.
