It is truly amazing at how badly they screwed this up. I "Tweeted" out the link of the announcement from USICS website to everybody, including my Congressman who has not followed up with me, added it to my Facebook page and included it in the comments of my blog.

I just included your email into the comments of my blog as well.

We are quite upset, but we are going to give some credit to CSC since is the biggest SC and have enough manpower to expedite our documents.

I understand your thought process.... supposedly they will have all applications approved before March 1st.... but, I wouldn't hold my breath. I would be raising all kinds of hell.

They need to be held accountable, if not, nothing will be done to prevent it in the future.

I couldn't agree more.... hence the sentence, "I would be raising all kinds of hell." I just fired off an email (earlier tonight) to Barbara Valarde about my case too. I'm not necessarily worried about the processing time yet (I just went over 6 months). My main concern is that my application is sitting in a pile with other "rejected/needs further review" applications, when in fact... mine was never sent to NVC (so it couldn't have been sent back to USCIS for review). :bonk:

The exact same thing happened to my petition. I had posted a conversation I had regarding this issue with a Tier 2 Officer somewhere in this thread- one of the most nonsensical conversations I have ever had with those folks.
