It was just a touch on the website. And I, too, am curious about the whole "your case is being processed at a USCIS office" thing. So ambiguous, those people! :P

I SWEAR they get enjoyment out of this! rofl.gif

I have gut feeling we're all still in Texas personally. This week is going to be a very OCD week!headbonk.gif

I got another touch today. I am surprised people are working at sunday too. By the way, I am wondering how many touches it need to get approved? Initailly, I was worried about not having touches at all. Now I am kinda worried if it will draw RFE. I hope not. My 5 months mark is appraoching. I read from others in another link that special cases are transferred to USCIS and the transfer is not normal. I am kinda worried about my case right now as it has been transferred from TSC to USCIS. I have not wanted anything so bad than approval in my life. God help us all

I know how you feel!! I was talking to my wife (beneficiary) via Skype, and she keeps telling me not to worry. I think this coming week June/July filers will be receiving SOMETHING. I hope and pray for the best (approval), but will have to take it as it comes. If it be a dreaded RFE, then I will just have to deal with it. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US!!!

Looking at it logically, it seems that CSC had a problem with July filers. We can't ALL be problem cases - it seems ALL the July filers have been shipped out to TSC and beyond. If it were just one or two, then maybe, but not the amount on here that has been transferred. Also, the fact people have been touched on Sunday, is yet more evidence they are simply trying to clear a backlog of cases within the five month period.

I am really really confused. I went on the USCIS website and tryed to look up some information. This is what i found: . The services we provide in our local offices primarily deal with problems relating to applications and petitions that have already been filed and which we have not been able to resolve through our website or by phone.

so..... I dont know what to think. This sounds bad, but it also says that they provide other services like:

Other USCIS Offices include:

Application Support Centers provide fingerprinting and related services

Asylum Offices handle scheduled interviews for asylum-related issues only

National Records Center receives and processes FOIA requests

Service Centers and our National Benefit Center receive and process a large variety of applications and petitions

And the email they sent me said they would notify me when a disicion was made... so it could just be that the service centers are really busy and they are getting help from these offices to get the 5 month goal....

The problem is, the service centers were too busy to resolve them. Yes, they are simply sharing the workload I am sure! All the July filers can't be ALL problem cases! blink.gif

Greetings fellow applicators...

My NOA1 date is Aug. 9th. I am in the same boat as the rest of you. I filed end of July. I have been transferred from California to TSC. My case was officially being handled as of Nov. 24th. I filed through a lawyer, but I signed up for updates directly from USCIS. I have not seen any 'touches' per se. My question is, are touches sent via the same system as the previous updates?

Chris

P.S. I really hope you all get your approvals as well!
