I think that is the wording they used to describe how Bush handled hurricane Katrina.

What does "rapid response" mean? Yesterday, it was implemented, but maybe it is so rapid that the approvals flew right past our eyes. Not one approval

I just looked on the USCIS website, and I haven't found any announcement as such. Perhaps I'm not looking thoroughly enough.

Anyone else have any luck verifying this?

I emailed my lawyer about it. Maybe it is a Mexico thing? I hope to find out more tomorrow.

Should we change the name of our thread to CSC-TSC-CSC-Blackhole? LOL

Remember how we had all been transferred to TSC to "expedite" our petitions?

I suspect the new term that's en vogue these days is "rapid response"

Great... looking forward to some confirmation. Once we have that, I suppose there'll be "eligibility" requirements and such we'll have to contend with.

I think you're misunderstanding something. I was just at the US Consulate in Mexico's website: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov, no mention of such a program. They still direct you to the NVC.

Maybe, but not an expedite! she said that wasnt it... again just to make it clear ill ask her to give me a source of some kind tommorrow! She is a very good lawyer and very well recomended by others so i see no reason for her to lie to me... unless im not explaining my self well. She said this to me when i asked her if i could get an expedite to nvc because of USCIS "error" and she said no. They didnt make an error, they just didnt proccess the petition on time. An error would be like " a diffrent name" or wrong address on Green card for example. Thats when she mentioned about filing straight with the councel.

Yeah totally. I'm sure we can make a special request to the Forum mods once we realize where we all land.

This is assuming we all get transferred to the CSC.

Some folks showed enthusiasm at the prospect of getting transferred back to the CSC- and although I fully support them, I was only half kidding about the notion of the 5-month clock getting reset yet again.

I'm perfectly serious. Look at my gavel and you'll know I'm serious!

"rapid response" to what? Response to their own initial lack of response? Makes my head hurt. headbonk.gif

still doesn't apply, as that term would be in the past tense, thereby not applicable to our ongoing predicament

Well, I think I know what I want to do when I retire from the Navy. I am going to apply to work at USCIS (Quality Assurance or Ombudsman would be better). First things first..... change their Creed... I'm pretty sure that currently it reads something like this.....

Blah, blah, blah....... you are the keepers of the universe..... blah, blah, blah...... do what you want, WHEN you want..... blah, blah, blah..... they will wait for you... blah, blah, blah.... feel good about yourself because you have the power to crush and fulfill happiness.... blah, blah, blah.....
