Well she explained to me that for I-130 peteiton for Immidiete relatives would not have to go threw NVC anymore. She said there is no need to get NVC involved alomost like direct counceling. That this new procces has just been up and going for about a little more then one month and its to help ppl like "us" more then anything be togther with our families. She said that if it works the way they intend to it should take less then a month to get an interview. Instead of getting NVC involved and spend weeks in mailing papers back and forth and then NVC sending it to councel we fax and scan and send to the councel. She said shes updated with this new proccedure and we will go that way!

Thanks again for sharing... I'd really like to see an official bulletin or something official stating what your lawyer told you.

Again, anybody have any luck finding something on this?

I think that is an expedite - it's what we are doing (we're fighting for our case number first), but we have a mass of medical documentation. I haven't heard of it for "general release". Maybe though, NVC will expedite us all to make up for the huge mess that USCIS have put us through. I hope so!

I think you're misunderstanding something. I was just at the US Consulate in Mexico's website: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov, no mention of such a program. They still direct you to the NVC.

What does "rapid response" mean? Yesterday, it was implemented, but maybe it is so rapid that the approvals flew right past our eyes. Not one approval

Not one promise kept, not one approval. Let us hope everyone was in meetings all day today deciding the logistics of it all....ughhh

I know how you feel!

Hello fellow hostages ... I have been flying with you all along from CSC to TSC and now back to our ex … CSC that is but could not come up with this memorable name CSCTSCCSC until tonight and it is getting worse than what I thought it could get to.

I have expedite granted 2 or 3 times since August (may be more) who is counting!!! I have e-mailed the usual suspects at USCIS and TSC when I completed the 5 months sentence and got only Garza's e-mail yesterday regarding the before 2/18 notice (now that notice seems to be another transfer notice based on the USCIS Alert) ... I hope the files do not get wet during the transfer ....

I agree with Fermat ... next time I'll make sure the spouse is a 100% citizen ....

Remember how we had all been transferred to TSC to "expedite" our petitions?

I suspect the new term that's en vogue these days is "rapid response"
