well they have pointed out that "On Feb. 7, 2011, we implemented a rapid response plan to expedite the adjudication of these petitions" and "Additionally, we have briefed the Department of State’s National Visa Center about these cases." lets hope all of us get expedite at NVC and at consulate.

Start hammering this now: I-130Inquiries.Tsc@dhs.gov

If i am TSC i wouldn't even activate this e-mail address as of now because in the announcement it says "If you do not see any action on your case, such as an approval, denial or an RFE, by March 1, 2011 you may contact USCIS at: I-130Inquiries.Tsc@dhs.gov"

At least NOW its public information that this was a colossal F-up. Now it's up to our lawmakers to make the changes necessary.

It is not like this is a NEW problem. Like this morning they woke up and the problem was in their lap. They have to be blind, deaf, and dumb to not see how many people have been contacting senators, the ombudsman and them. This is really not cool. How am i supposed to call and tell my husband this news? I wanna crawl into a hole until he is done with his interview.

I'm sure it just means that they took other workers off other projects to process our petitions. I don't see why we wouldn't see a steady stream of approvals all week. I don't see them waiting until March 1st to enter ALL of them into the system.

So does this allow those of us who were promised action TODAY wont get it? I wanna puke

So.. what can we do at this point? REally... what can we do! Any ideas? Lawyers are of no help, media is not interested, so what should we do. Nothing is not that damned answer

Just speculation, but I imagine that they are still going to try to meet that February 18th deadline for those they promised it to (particularly July filers), but EVERYONE theoretically should be getting some kind of notice by March 1. I also hope that they don't start going crazy with RFE's... but I think it's in their best interest to just approve as many as they can as quickly as they can to get our petitions off their desks and to get us off their backs.

In some way, this announcement does make me feel a little better though. Now they have given us a firm deadline that they have to be held accountable for.

What's betting the top brass have been in meetings all day?

THAT is why no one has responded.

MY BIG hope here, is that NVC will expedite us all straight to consulate. Hell, I'm printing this off the website now as evidence. We can all SO use this information to our advantage.

I also note, they have pushed the date back to March 1st.

I ALSO note, it says nothing about shortening the delay in getting our cases up to NVC.

WHAT A MONUMENTAL EXERCISE IN INCOMPETENCE. We should take nothing less than a full expedite straight to consulate.

Oh and - what were the "unforseen circumstances?

Breaking News:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=d06835e66570e210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=e7801c2c9be44210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

Delayed Immediate Relative Petitions, (Form I-130) at Texas Service Center

In November 2010, USCIS transferred approximately 36,000 Immediate Relative petitions from our California Service Center to our Texas Service Center. We anticipated that this redistribution of work would result in more timely adjudication of these petitions. Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances at our Texas Service Center, many of these cases have not been processed and are beyond our estimated processing times. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused you and we are making every effort to remedy this situation as soon as possible.

On Feb. 7, 2011, we implemented a rapid response plan to expedite the adjudication of these petitions. We have transferred a large number of these Immediate Relative petitions back to our California Service Center :bonk: to take advantage of resources currently available to immediately process these cases. Petitioners will see an action such as an approval, denial or a Request for Evidence (RFE) on their case from our California or Texas Service Centers by the end of February. Additionally, we have briefed the Department of State’s National Visa Center about these cases.

We encourage you to monitor the progress of your case by accessing My Case Status online. If you do not see any action on your case, such as an approval, denial or an RFE, by March 1, 2011 you may contact USCIS at: I-130Inquiries.Tsc@dhs.gov

We remain committed to the prompt resolution of all pending cases and will provide updates on our progress in the coming weeks.

That is all i was asking for: a public announcement that "we messed up". But transferring back to CSC hmmmmmm :bonk: dont know about that :help:

what u guys think....

Wow !!!!!!!! TSC was a complete waste of time, and they are now going back to Cali.

Un Freakin believable !!!!!!!!!
