When assurances are made, and dates and promises are put in writing, it's much easier to hold someone accountable. They are messing with peoples lives and emotions here. 30 minutes to COB?

I have sent another email to Barrows. It is as follows:

I wanted to know if any "action" has been made on my case. I have been waiting an incredibly long time and i feel it is extremely unfair that people with priority dates far after my have been approved. I can not understand why an expedite request that was approved did nothing for my case and why my son has to grow up without a father because of the issues that TSC is having. I fear that i will wait for several more months once this ridiculously long process is finished because i will have another extremely long NVC process. I would appreciate your help in ensuring that my time at the NVC is not a repeat of this horrible experience that has put an emotional and physical toll on my health and well-being. My son thinks his father is a computer screen. Because of the TSC issues, my husband has missed my son's first smile, first crawl, first time sitting-up, first teeth, and I am sure there will be many more firsts. My heart is saddened by the fact that i paid for a service that i have not received and that i have received no assistance on this matter. From the 17th of December i have been told my case was going to be adjudicated by my Senator who contacted the congressional liaison and put "congressional interest" on my case and from the CIS ombudsman, who also made a formal inquiry. I am at a loss for words and am giving up all hope. I am a proud person, and i hate to have to be for help, but please be of assistance to be throughout this entire process.

Yesterday I was also contacted and promised that I would be contacted by email today with a complete update on my petition. Nothing yet.

Iam not shocked, but i am sickened. I got hopeful yesterday.. but after a minute or two i got back to reality and realized their words mean not a damn thing.

Empty promises are worse than no promises at all. They are playing with our lives.

Delayed Immediate Relative Petitions, (Form I-130) at Texas Service Center

In November 2010, USCIS transferred approximately 36,000 Immediate Relative petitions from our California Service Center to our Texas Service Center. We anticipated that this redistribution of work would result in more timely adjudication of these petitions. Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances at our Texas Service Center, many of these cases have not been processed and are beyond our estimated processing times. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused you and we are making every effort to remedy this situation as soon as possible.

On Feb. 7, 2011, we implemented a rapid response plan to expedite the adjudication of these petitions. We have transferred a large number of these Immediate Relative petitions back to our California Service Center :bonk: to take advantage of resources currently available to immediately process these cases. Petitioners will see an action such as an approval, denial or a Request for Evidence (RFE) on their case from our California or Texas Service Centers by the end of February. Additionally, we have briefed the Department of State’s National Visa Center about these cases.

We encourage you to monitor the progress of your case by accessing My Case Status online. If you do not see any action on your case, such as an approval, denial or an RFE, by March 1, 2011 you may contact USCIS at: I-130Inquiries.Tsc@dhs.gov

We remain committed to the prompt resolution of all pending cases and will provide updates on our progress in the coming weeks.

That is all i was asking for: a public announcement that "we messed up". But transferring back to CSC hmmmmmm :bonk: dont know about that :help:

It's 55 degrees in Dallas currently. Even if there were a storm, tough titties. Approve me now!

I am just wondering if TSC closed early.

Another winter storm has hit Texas - it's been snowing since 12 midday, and is forecast to carry on until the morning.headbonk.gif

This could explain the lack of activity this afternoon..

I love this "sorry for the inconvenience" this is not an inconvenience, this is a life changing, torturous ordeal that has caused people heartache and pain and destroyed lives.
