I like the hands on, more sympathetic approach of TSC, but I hope they can deliver on the promises. From experience in office work, people can get even more annoyed when target dates are given and not adhered to. I hope they DO deliver and aren't setting themselves up for a fall.

you're right,deadlines become "Dead" often..but they seem confident,even TSC director assured in email to Wade to clear the approvals within next few weeks..atleast we are getting somewhere...we started with nothing n yet all are getting replies...

If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

I just hope the "notice" is a notice of approval, and not like the last notice many of us received in November, "Your case is now being processed at a USCIS office".

That was a REALLY helpful notice. :rolleyes:

No genuine approvals so far this week either. Does not jive with the messages they're sending us.

Two promises have been made that should happen today, and one tomorrow. I wonder if the promises will be fulfilled?

Even though so many people are getting such hopeful messages from TSC I seem to have entered a phase where I'm just tired of the whole thing. I went through about a month of getting butterflies in my stomach every time I'd login to my email just in case something might have happened, plus logging into the USCIS website several times every day. Now it's like seeing that there's been no progress so many times has just crushed my spirit or something. I still check it multiple times a day, but now I pretty much just go, "Yeah, yeah, last updated 11/30/2010. How exciting. My file is at the bottom of the world's biggest pile and nobody at TSC gives a ######. And when my husband calls, he just gets the runaround over and over."

By the way, the things my husband was told include: "The 5 month date was reset when the transfer occurred to TSC." "Your file will be processed within 9-12 months." The last time he called he was able to put in a service request, but we all know how helpful those are, right? I don't really blame the people at the call center since they have nothing to do with the huge file transfer and they're only being told what to say by their scripts and their supervisors. I'm just frustrated at the whole situation and in some ways I don't even want to think about it until our NOA2 just magically appears someday. Too bad I can't seem to stop obsessing. :P

USCIS: 220 days

NVC - 53 days

06/28/2011 - Medical appointment

07/04/2011 - Picked up sealed medical envelope

07/05/2011 - Interview date

07/08/2011 - Received visa

NVC case complete to visa - 42 days

Total from NOA1 to visa - 315 days

Who knows if TSC will finally give the mass approvals on the love month? LOL

We have all been on the love-hate relationship with TSC..sometimes we sympathize with them just because CSC tossed out all our files, but most often we hate them for holding our lives in their hands!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

One center cannot just make the decision to transfer their workload to another center. If that were true they would shuffle papers around the country forever and nothing would ever get done. Don't fall for their nonsense "CSC bad, TSC good". It's all USCIS.
