WOOHOO!!!!!! This is the best news I've heard in a long time.... now, I just hope they follow through.

For those of you getting email alerts whenever a post in this thread, I can hear you know, "Damn that SqdnGuns, not again!!"

Well, my persistence paid off, I just got an email from the Director of the Texas Service Center, this is a reply to one that I sent to her 20 minutes before getting this reply.

Mr. Grant,

Thank you for your email. I had received one over the weekend from you and your case was approved this morning. You should be able to see it on the case status online tomorrow or Wednesday. I would have to agree with you that the process was temporarily broken, but we have taken steps to correct this and we will have all cases processed within the next weeks. Hopefully your future experiences with USCIS and with TSC will be more positive. My apologies for your wait, and I hope that your son recovers soon and fully.

Regards,

Angela K. Barrows

I truly hope that hey have fixed their errors for the sake of the rest of you. I am waiting to hear back from her whether our case will be expedited @ NVC and the Embassy.

Good Afternoon

Thank you for contacting us about your I-130 petition. We understand the effects our processing times can have on applicants and are working diligently to shorten the processing time. You should receive a notice on your I-130 petition by February 18, 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Thank You

Officer Garza

Guess what? I also received EXACTLY the same response. I emailed TSC with the same email address we all used, right after Wade posted his good news.

BY FEB 18. That means they are working double time and there will be mass approvals in the coming days.

Thanks, Wade. After you got that email, I felt that they were really on it.

What i wanna know is after all this drama has one person received an official approval.. meaning a real change in status that we can actually see?!

The email I received today said I should see my status change tomorrow or Wednesday. Although I am HIGHLY optimistic, I will believe it when I have our NVC # and my wife has her interview scheduled.
