Party time by Friday hopefully!

I think we are all ON OUR WAY!!

I wish those that aren't approved to BE approved, and those that ARE approved be up to NVC.

Of course, THIS style of open communication is better for everyone, as TSC will not now get as many emails and phone calls, thus being able to concentrate on what they should be doing, rather than dealing with endless complaints. Maybe the management had brainstorming sessions during the snow days.

Nothing like raising a bit of hell to rattle some cages. One voice is quiet, many are louder!!

And my blog is going to stay up until this is completed. Yes, I am sorry that TSC was dumped on by someone in the "Puzzle Palace" but they must be held accountable so this does not happen again.

Look what I just received:kicking.gif

Good Afternoon

Thank you for contacting us about your I-130 petition. We understand the effects our processing times can have on applicants and are working diligently to shorten the processing time. You should receive a notice on your I-130 petition by February 18, 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Thank You

Officer Garza

It's nice to see an actual date, and I hope (although it's unlikely) that this is the deadline they have set for themselves for all transferred petitions. By then, pretty much everyone in this group of transfers will have been waiting for 6-8 months.

I actually feel bad for the people that are working on approving our cases.

This is how I imagine the conversation went on November 3.

Boss: How's your workload?

Guy reviewing applications: Oh, I am loaded up with applications until the end of January.

Boss: Oh, by the way I have another small project I need you to take care of.

Guy reviewing applications: What is it?

Boss: Just a few I-130's from CSC.

Guy reviewing applications: But I don't review I-130's. How many are there?

Boss: Only 36,000.

Guy reviewing applications: 36,000!!!!! I don't know if we can get them done by the 5 month deadline.

Boss: Better learn to manage your time more efficiently.

Boss leaves....Guy reviewing applications calls his coworker.

Guy reviewing applications: Bob, ####### is going on. We don't even review I-130's, there is no way we have these done in 6 months. I wonder who made this decision.

I guess on Angela's email and got it right!

Here was her response to me:

Ms. Sharma,

Your case had already been assigned to an officer and an action should be taken by close of business tomorrow. I will provide you with an update at that time.

Congratulations on your progress. This process has made me so skeptical that I hesitate to call it more than that. To call it a "process" is probably too generous. I personally would like to see somebody at USCIS held accountable for this mess. Not just "oops we messed up". I won't distinguish between, CSC and TSC, those are the worker bees, they have a Central Office in DC, somebody there made the decision to transfer our petitions. I'd like, at the very least, an explanation of what went wrong and what steps are taken to make sure it does not happen again.

I read a post a couple of days ago stating that they had received an email from TSC stating that all applications should be approved within 2 weeks. Most of us discounted the post because it seemed "too personal", and wasn't what you'd expect in an email from USCIS. Perhaps TSC DOES finally have it together, and approvals will start rolling in. Now if they can only get those approved petitions to NVC.

For Wade - From what I've read on other threads, the expedite is not automatic throughout. You have to expedite it through NVC also.

Good news, Jane Harman's office just called me saying USCIS emailed them and said that they would begin working on my case in 2 to 3 weeks, and that they had fell behind. I should get an answer in about a month. God at least I have some clue as to what is going on. Now I just pray they will give me an approval! I miss my husband sooooooooo much!!!
