As you can see from my signature, I received ANOTHER touch TODAY! I really don't have a good feeling about all these touches. Perhaps my petition is providing some comic relief for the Janitors at USCIS!!!

perhaps the mice are runnig across the keyboards and issuing "touches" :devil:

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

I thought the USCIS office would be closed today but received another update that means our case has been updated almost every day for a week has anyone else got any updates today????

I swear...all this is enough to drive people absolutely NUTS!!! I started crying from happiness when my husband called me on my cell phone while I was in line in the grocery store buying something to tell me we had been touched.....the poor cashier asked me if I'd found everything ok and I burst into tears!!! :crying: I may possibly be losing my mind!!! :rofl: Touches can only be a good thing....it means they've not lost your paperwork!!! :thumbs:

04/09/2014 - Biometrics.

04/28/2014 - In-Line for Interview - 6 hours later Interview Scheduled!!

05/02/2014 - Interview Letter received. (Mailed on 29 April)

05/26/2014 - 3 year anniversary.

06/02/2014 - Interview. PASSED!

09/11/2014 - Oath Ceremony.

09/16/2014 - Updated driver licence and registered to vote.

10/08/2014 - Updated Social Security

10/14/2014 - Applied for U.S. Passport

10/27/2014 - U.S. Passport arrived in mail (13 days - DID NOT expedite)

10/30/2014 - Naturalization Certificate arrived in mail (was not folded)

OK guys so I knnow this has nothing to do with this CURRENT topic but I need to ask to get this out of my head. My Mexican passport was issued to me almost 2 years before I got married and it doesnt expire till 2012 I think, however it still has my maiden name because I never went to change it. After I got married I took my husbands last name, so legally I have my husbands last name on all my other documents except for my passport. Is this going to affect me in any way when i get my visa? or should I go to get it changed now before it expires just in case? :huh:

here in the US you need to replace your passport if you are using a new name, i would get a new one

my wife filed I-130 for her mother. after transfering case from CSC to TSC, now We also got the same message:

Post Decision Activity

On November 23, 2010, a USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it. We will notify you when we complete our review, or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

we really hoped to get approval soon but now it seems that I-130 case moved to local USCIS. next week will be exactly five months from NOA1 . we don't know what to do next?

I read in other posts that review at USCIS office for returned cases has low priority and may take around 2 years. do you have any suggestion/solution for this situation?

hate to break it to you sarah, but you just filed...I have received 3 touches in 5 months of waiting. No biggie.

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!
