It is very irritating! Your NOA1 date is just a day after mine, and when I called in 2 weeks ago they said they were processing July 16th petitions. SURE they were. I have 20 more days before the 60 day grace period my local senate office has given them, but who knows if they'll even be able to help. I'm hoping the system is down tonight because they're giving mass TCS approvals and refunding the fees we paid as well.

Here's to a new week and 36,000 TSC approvals

USCIS

07/06/10: Package Sent to Chicago Lockbox

07/07/10: Package Received

07/17/10: NOA1

07/26/10: Touched

11/30/10: Touched! FINALLY

12/01/10: Touched, AGAIN!

12/02/10: Touched, YET AGAIN!

12/03/10: TOUCHED!

02/14/11:I-130 Approved Happy Valentines Day!

Case was approved in 212 days

NVC

02/18/11: Received NVC Case number

02/20/11: Optin email sent

02/22/11:Submitted DS-261 (Choice of Agent)

02/23/11: AOS invoiced and paid

02/25/11: AOS I-864 Emailed to NVC

03/02/11: IV Bill generated & Paid!

03/08/11: Optin Accepted

03/17/11: DS-260 completed

03/24/11: DS-260 Supporting Documents emailed

03/24/11: Emailed my I-864 AGAIN because NVC is saying they did not receive it.

04/08/11: NVC robot says they are "Awaiting my Biographic Data" which I assume means they reviewed my I-864

04/11/11: NVC is saying I am missing info, that I did not send in all my documents.

04.14.11: NVC is saying i never emailed anything. I contacted my senate office, who is getting things handled for me at NVC.

05.12.11: OMG SIF!

07.11.11-INTERVIEW DATE!

The site is down to scheduled maintenance which they posted on the site yesterday.

You all need to start rattling some cages, don't rely on your elected officials to be of any assistance. Contact local and national media, take advantage of Twitter and Facebook. We have to be proactive since no one is looking out for us.

Read my blog and make a comment about what you're experiencing with this process. The blog is getting quite a few hits from the Tweets, Facebook status and getting others I know to get the word out.

I know the site is down, it was just wishful day-dreaming.

I just drafted up a letter and am preparing to mass communicate it. Hopefully all of our media contacting will not fall on deaf ears and something will actually be done. :reading:

Okie doke.............I am day dreaming a bit too. I have only slept 3 hours since 10 AM yesterday. For some reason I am "Amped" up, I expect a crash soon.

I have been making comments on different news sites and leaving a link to the Blog I created, it is working because I can see where the traffic to the Blog is coming from.

I'm a Oct filer and have been following your nightmare praying that the same does not happen to me. I don't know if getting this out to the media will do any good (they're government employees, its not like any of them can be fired or anything), but I admire your determination to try and do something and will do my best to spread your story and get others to read it too. One small suggestion if I may: while everyone here is all too familiar with the jargon used within this community, the rest of people (including myself 5 months ago)dont know what terms like NOA, RFE and TSC mean. I think that your blog would be even more effective if you tried to replace these terms with ones more easily understood by joe blow.

I am hoping for you and the rest of the TSC hostages as much as I am for my own application.

Thanks..........anything that has an acronym in the blog is first referenced by the actual phrase.

United States Customs & Immigration Service (USCIS)

California Service Center (CSC) to the Texas Service Center (TSC)

Adjustment of Status (AOS)

etc, etc..........

I think by doing it this way just magnifies what we do have to deal with.

The blog may be in vain but at the same time it is a bit of a "release" for me.

I just completed filing and submitting my Legal Intake form for the ACLU Southern California office. Some of you may want to consider this too if you have been approved for an expedite but no action has been taken by USCIS.
