Today is nice in TX. I would HOPE they'd have been told to work "catch up" this weekend. I know most businesses would have asked for volunteers to work the weekend, if the staff had been off due to bad weather.

I'm not optimistic though, but I could be wrong.

Catching up with work this weekend would be nice. I guess it's possible, unless they have absolutely no access to their computer system, assuming the server being down is a system-wide project, which is unlikely, since updates and such are usually undertaken in sectors... who knows :)

OK, Blog is ready for prime time!! Happy reading and PLEASE feel free to post comments!!

http://uscisfiasco.blogspot.com/

Excellent wording and a heartbreaking story Wade, I wish you luck. I am sure approval is not far away, but THEN of course is the crazy wait to get to the NVC,

We should all write our own stories on a communal blog. It would be a tremendous piece of writing that may get noticed. We all have our own stories. Can you imagine what impact a 50 or 60 person blog may have? Just a thought.

Good Morning all,

Just got in from work, I'm one of those dreaded Cab Drivers. I put in a call to a lawyer that specializes in immigration locally. He was not in the office, so I don't expect to hear from him until Tuesday. I will discuss with him in detail the situation we are all facing, and the laws that have been broken in regards to the processing of our cases. We will see what he has to say about it. Of course, TSC could be watching this forum, and now seeing that we are looking into taking them to Federal Court, they are going to work even harder on the I-130's that we all sent in. They may not like the fact we have found the exact codes they have broken, in regards to our cases at this point. But when I speak to the lawyer on Tuesday, I will let you all know where we stand. We're all in this together..

And Wade, from a old HM.. my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

( For those that don't know what a HM is.. I'm sorry, but any Jarhead knows for real!)

I still have more to write, I see where I have missed a few things...........

Appreciate it..........

The blog is not just for me, I did it for all of us being screwed by USCIS.

Hello jjjdddlll- I find it unsettling that you still haven't mentioned in what form you received this message.

"I did not want you to wait to hear from me" doesn't sound like something that would be mentioned in ANY USCIS-related correspondence, it's way too personal.

What I'm saying is, I smell a rat

Maybe it is someone from USCIS as a member here trying to calm us

I'd like to think so Rachel, but you've been following this thread from the beginning, so you understand if I can't help but be skeptical.

We have yet to see our political reps get a coherent, reliable answer- so I ask myself what the chances would be of a "regular joe/jane" receiving such a lengthy email as that posted by "jjjdddll".

We have people who have honorably served in the Armed Forces who haven't gotten a coherent, reliable answer- so again I ask myself what the chances would be of a "regular joe/jane" receiving such a lengthy email.

Of the thousands of emails the USCIS fields, perhaps on a daily basis, it's become self-evident that all they can afford to do is send one of a number of template-based emails.

All things considered, I'm still hopeful for all of us :)

jjjdddlll has been a member since May 2010, as has made quite a few posts in many areas of the forum. I would like the said poster to prove to us that this is a genuine email, where it came from, and what prompted it considering TSC were closed when the email was sent.

If he/she can do that, then it would probably alleviate a lot of the stress being felt on this thread right now.

So, jjjdddlll here we are. Give us some genuine hope that this is correct.
