My NOA1 date is August 14,2010. My case was transferred to TSC on November 2,1010. I called on Jan. 20,to put in an inquiry because it was past 5 months. I called back on Jan. 25, 2011 and they told me I would be receiving a letter stating that my case was still being processed and to wait another 6 months from that date. I still haven't received that letter. I called again today and they repeated the same thing. I told them I haven't received the letter from Jan. 25, they said that it could take 30 days to receive the letter. I could probably walk from Texas to Ohio faster than the letter is taking in the snail mail. I haven't received any Emails or Text messages either. My case hasn't been touched since Nov 24,2010. It would be quicker if I would resubmit my I130 to CSC, but I don't want to pay the fee again.

You dont want the letter, trust me. It is just a boilerplate, general letter that just frustrates you. Mine said that if I havent heard anything in 9-12 months from the date on the letter, give them a call :dance:

We are all in the same boat but my date is July 6th. No one cares, every one tells me to just wait. This is the wrong place, call USCIS. I give up

Well, I just got off the phone with a USCIS Customer Service Rep. This time I actually used the active duty military help line and spoke with a very polite individual. I ran through a list of about 5 different reasons that I should get my application expedited... he could only select one reason, so we ended up going with "USCIS error". He said I should hear directly from TSC in about 5 days (I won't hold my breath). He tried reading directly from the computer again... "Your application has been returned from the State Department (along with a request that USCIS review it), blah, blah, blah...." I think I stumped him when I explained that they had entered the incorrect two to four digit code in the computer..... LOL, there was a long pause..... then I told him that I had gotten the information from the Ombudsman  You could've heard a pin drop.... it was classic.... I can't really fault him tho... I mean seriously, a trained monkey could do his job, it's not his fault, right??? LOL Sorry.... I just find it amusing when they realize that you have just as much (if not more) information than they do.

I guess what really ticks me off about the whole thing is... the last time I called (not the military line) the lady actually put in a Service Request (I have referral number) to have my approval letter sent to me.... HELLO.... it doesn't even exist LOL too funny.... I guess I rolled that piece of paper up and poked them in the eye with it. Like I said.... we'll see if it does any good or not.

Everyone have a safe weekend and enjoy the SuperBowl!!!

Erick

Did you get transfered from csc to tsc? I'm guessing that if you didn't get a message/email that you're aproved(noa2), it means that you're still in pending :( I have the same status since nov.

Good morning VJ,

Got the RFE hardcopy, Them want proves of our wedding, affidavits of guests and bills. Things that were sent when we filed, which they probably lost  My husband is pissed off.

So all we have to do is feed their lack of common sense, send the stuff, wait & see :bonk:

Bills?? Proves of wedding?? The certificate is not enough?!! It proves the fact that your wedding actually took place. What bills have to do with this fact? What if there are no bills? What is the wedding was very informal (my case)?? What's the connection here? I can't believe that, that's too much. The marriage certificate needs some supporting evidence in the form of bills... wow... speechless...

I am totally with you. How long we stay like this? tossed out, carelessness, ignored and begging for help.

I contacted senators - they told me to wait for 60 to 90 days

I contacted congressman - they said 36000 cases has been transferred and nothing we can do other tha waiting

I sent email everyone - no response

I contacted USCIS andf placed serice request - did nothing ( i placed 3 already)

I contacted tier 2 personel - they do not have any information regarding my case

No contact number for TSC

What are we supposed to do? Just stay idle and do nothing. Just waiting for any relief.

Or Do something and filed a lawsuit against USCIS for carelessness. (OCt/Nov filers are getting approved and we are f**** ignored.

If we are united and filed a lawsuit against uscis, they will perhaps move forward and do something with our case. I know many of us are afraid that it will just delay our case. What are you gonna expect anyway rather than delay by just waiting for their reply? Days are passing and we expect something happen to our case, but get a disappointment and frustration. We have been suffering from last 7 months. It will take years for TSC to finish 36000 cases. Besides, we will sue with monetary damage over 100 million for making us go through the hell.. If someone contacts the laywer, then we can contribute the money to sue. That is my thought.

Do you chose to do something or do you want to be in the feet of TSC?

count me in.......
