I Hope it Rains tomorrow with " APPROVALS " . I PRAY.... Starting with SqdnGuns....Let it Rain...

Thank you....................I hope many get approvals as well.

I just have this empty feeling in my gut that my wife's case has found it's way to a blackhole and will not get any answer from them for months.

Aloha,

I've been reading this forum almost everyday since the day my paperworks got transfered to Texas and I know the feeling of emptiness while waiting for the approval. Sometimes i'm mad and disappointed on how USCIS works but i can't do anything but to wait wait and wait......

Now I have good news, finally today I received an email & text from USCIS that they approved my petition (for parents from Philippines).

NOA 1 - Aug. 26

NoA 2 - Feb. 3

I'm praying that this is the start and all members here who got transfered will get their approval soon.

Mahalo!

Good morning VJ,

Got the RFE hardcopy, Them want proves of our wedding, affidavits of guests and bills. Things that were sent when we filed, which they probably lost  My husband is pissed off.

So all we have to do is feed their lack of common sense, send the stuff, wait & see :bonk:

What exactly did you send initially? Did you send a cover letter with explanations how you met?

Are you SERIOUS? It took them THIS LONG to request proof of your wedding? AFTER you had already sent it?!?!?!? ####### does that have anything to do with security background checks anyway? I ask that because I thought that was why our cases are being delayed- supposedly our petitions are undergoing some sort of security checks.

Unbelievable.

Yes. We got one exactly the same letter which said for us to wait 90 days. Two days later, we were approved. Just ignore it and don't worry. Approval can happen at any time. Keep the faith!

What we need is the snowy weather to ease up, because as sure as coal is black, the weather will be the next excuse.

I also believe Jenny got a similar letter telling her to wait 9 months a few days before her approval. (I may be wrong on that). I am hoping for a lot more approvals for every one today, but I don't even know whether TSC & NVC are open.

Good luck.

I think today, I will be speaking with a immigration lawyer today, and discussing the violations of the US Code that have been committed by the USCIS. I will also mention the CFR's that Fermat was so nice to post up. I will be submitting a FOIA to the USCIS in regards to this case, to find out exactly what the hold up is on there end. But at the same time, I will be engaging a lawyer to assess what recourse we have by filing in Federal Court against the USCIS for the violations of the US Code. If anyone else is speaking to an attorney about possibly using the Federal Courts and bringing suit against USCIS, lemme know. If there is a valid basis for the case to go forward, I'm sure that it will be a class action lawsuit.

I'm tired of not having my wife with me, and soon to be child. So no more, I'm done with writing, I'm done with calling, I'm done with begging my reps in Washington.. it's time to take the only recourse left, and that is to file against the USCIS for violations of the USC and CFR's and them not doing anything to correct the situation.

 If it can go, perhaps it will spark a little fire under the TSC...
