"On November 23, 2010, a USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it." This is the part that doesn't make sense to me. At this stage of the process, USCIS should not be getting anything from the State Department. Guess we will have to wait and see if others get the same message for approvals. Good luck to all of us.

Looks like they are finally moving this thing!!! :dance: Thank GOd!! Looks like there are 2 different notices : "initial review" and "post decision activity" DanTes, which one are you?

Yeah, that confused me too. I'm honestly a little nervous until I receive something explicitly stating we are approved. I guess I will keep waiting...hopefully will get something via snail mail next week.

I also got the same email and i am a July filer............maybe they cam on our forum and saw how frustrated we all were......haha. :lol:

06/28/2010 - sent I-130

06/29/2010 - received by uscis

07/06/2010 - notice NOA1

07/08/2010 - updated

07/10/2010 - got NOA1 hard copy in the mail

11/01/2010 - moved from CSC to TSC

11/02/2010 - updated

11/03/2010 - updated

11/23/2010 - updated (post decision activity)

02/09/2011 - notification moved from TSC (back to initial review :o )

02/10/2011 - confirmation TSC back to CSC!

02/16/2011 - APROVED!!!!!

NVC journey:

02/25/2011 - we're IN :)) case # Emailed DS 3032. Paid AOS Fee.

03/01/2011 - DS 3032 approved (confirmation by email)

03/02/2011 - AOS shows paied -> AOS packet mailed out

03/04/2011 - AOS received

03/07/2011 - IV generated & paid

03/09/2011 - IV paid! mailed out->

03/14/2011 - IV received

03/31/2011 - Case complete @ NVC!!!

If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

Of course, as always, this is what I'm choosing to assume until I know anything better. I once learned a very good lesson on assumptions that has served me well. Assumptions are simply something we make up in our mind. We can choose to assume the best or we can choose to assume ther worst. Since we won't know the real truth until "we get there", it is better to assume the best and make life a lot easier and more pleasant along the way.

ok i am getting confused because i know i have seen at least 3 RFEs (very wicked 3pg) ...

and many people keep referring to USCIS emails others rec'd before they got their approval, but i didnt realize anyone from the TSC transfer got their approval...?

looking on the CSC to TSC transfer spreadsheet i dont even fields for any of these (NOA2, RFE, denial) and Saylin/Record Keeper was not going to put a field till there was reason to do so (i.e. till someone rec'd soemthing) so am thinking that no one from the transfer has rec'd any decision...? unless the spreadsheet isnt up to date?

i know it's the holiday but Saylin/Record Keeper ;) just a question... is it up to date?

that will clarify things a little for me because i know everyone is trying to stay 'hopeful' but i'd prefer to have legit info.

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

You worry prematurely. Wait until paper notices of approval or RFE are noted.

I believe that they(fillers moved to TSC) did not changed the SC on VJ profile settings, probably Skynaut and me are at TSC the rest have keep the CSC on their info, and because of that Igor's list is like that ;):thumbs: Just my opinion.

not "worried", just frustrated at all the speculation of "it's an approval because all the others got these before their approval" yet there's been no approvals from the CSC to TSC people AFAIK so wanted to know if the spreadsheet is up to date or not.

looks more like a "touch" instead.

they changed it in correct spot... and igor's list will never be accurate because people do not update their timelines, thats why groups do spreadsheets

there may be issues with VJ becasue more than just a few if us changed it in our profiles right at the beginning of the transfer 3 weeks ago and it just reverted back, so if it is important to you for your profile to stay changed to TSC you may want to check it daily. for me doesnt matter, as the info on that list isnt really accurate.

Thanks, but why doesn't that spreadsheet have the timelines from all cases that were transferred from CSC to TSC on it?
