A bit of humor:

A conversation between Mom and Me:

Mom: How are you?

Me: I do not know, ask Texas

Mom: Texas?

Me: Yes, the people who control my mood

Mom: Um, well, I am going to the supermarket, do you want anything?

Me: Sure. Pick up my husband in aisle 2, and his Greencard in aisle 4

Mom: What did you say? You want bandaids and greenbeans?

Me: The connection must not be good. I dont need anything.

This is what happened to me this morning.

Not so funny, but funny enough to stop me from being in hysteria.

Thanks. U made my day

I heard back from the Senator's office this morning. And just as i expected they are using the weather as an excuse, even though LAST WEEK they said progress would be made on my case.

Rachel,

I received an email this morning from the Supervisor of the Congressional Unit. Because of the inclement weather and closings they have not been able to make progress on your case. He expects to make progress on it within the next few days. As soon as I have any additional information I will be in touch.

Best,

I know now they will use this weather as an excuse. BUT! What about the past 7 months before the weather? If they are closed all week i might seriously have a stroke. I am sick from this whole thing. I cant eat, and when i do, im sick. I cant sleep, when i do i have nightmares. And, i really cant function. My whole life feels like a movie that i am not in... i just go through the motions. My son thinks his father is a computer screen.

I am so sorry....and seriously so angry that immigration does not take it seriously how painful it is to be seperated and put something into action...maybe contacting media sources is the only way to put this whole process on blast.
