Just a thought......I wonder if USCIS is sending some petitions to LOCAL offices for processing?? I received the TSC transfer notice, and then I received an email stating that my petition was being processed at a USCIS office. Seeing some peculiar emails and notices in the past few days.......other than the "normal" APPROVED.

that was posted like at 3something am ;) if they are anything like me, "today" is anything till i go to bed

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Well, the touches can'r be a bad thing. It does seem like the USCIS are trying to "clear their desks", so I think we should all be hopeful. :)

Hi. I noticed that you are one of the few doing a K-3 Visa like me. Was your I-129F processed also or just the I-130?

Just the I-130 - I think the I-129F is dead. Had we known what we know now, we would never have done the K3. Our lawyer was outdated in his procedures.

I-129F is not dead yet. NVC will kill it after it is approved.

This morning I got a "The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office" email like some others. My last touch was 11/4 (because of the transfer I believe) and now today 11/24. If you received this email after moving to TSC have you been getting a lot of touches after? Thanks.

I too got the message about moving to a "USCIS Office" yesterday (11/24). I was really nervous and upset at first. Based on past postings from others, this seemed to mean that they were transferring it to a local office because they wanted to meet with you in person (i.e. maybe something wrong). Now, when I see so many others got the same change, I am taking a positive position and considering it a good thing.

I do believe they (USCIS) are behind in their processing and trying to "catch up". As such, I am hoping that they tapped into the local offices for extra manpower and the process might actually speed up as a result. Maybe the local offices aren't so busy and so they will have time to work these cases.

Of course, as always, this is what I'm choosing to assume until I know anything better. I once learned a very good lesson on assumptions that has served me well. Assumptions are simply something we make up in our mind. We can choose to assume the best or we can choose to assume ther worst. Since we won't know the real truth until "we get there", it is better to assume the best and make life a lot easier and more pleasant along the way.

Happy Thankgsvining Everyone. I wish you all the best.

The evidence from other members suggests that this email is a GOOD thing (have a dig around the forum), and approval follows very soon.
