the poster that you mentioned got his NOA1 on July 17th...that is not 8 months. It is going on 7 months, like many people here. I do understand your frustration.

Sen. Mark Kirk's office replied to me. She told me that my case was assigned to an officer, but that was weeks ago. I still email her and she still calls them, but I don't think it leads anywhere.

What hurts me more and also drives me mad, is the way they deal with us (They = senators, congressmen, representatives, USCIS staff) It is so arrogant, so cold, like if you are bothering them, like if the system had done nothing wrong, like if we are all spoild children making scenes...

They not only owe us some explantions but also tons of apologies, not mentioning that they should give us somekind of conppensation

Did the USCIS website used to have 36,000 receipts on the trend charts for Nov at TSC? Now it says pending 35,600 approved 400, 73 RFE. I'm not sure if it said that 36,000 were pending or received before, but now there are no receipts in 2010 for TSC on this chart. My point being that our cases weren't received in Nov but Jun, July, and August and we are way over the 5 month time frame. Not like this argument would make anyone care more than they already are. I want to see what bs they'll put up later this month.

Somedays are great, somedays I cry, today is a pity party day for me. I'm praying for everyone here (all transfers actually) and Wade, I know that only good things will come for you and your family.

I rembember last month and Nov chart it showed that the last time they had received i130 was before May. Now it shows nothing, they are really dealing with customers like if we were a bunch of marons...

Noop but at this time we are not complaining because they are not giving our spouses a visa. I agree that visa is a benefit and not a right. But "processing" for visa is not a benefit it is a paid for service. We paid for our petitions to be processed and they are supposed to be processed under "normal processing time". USCIS failed to provide for a service for which we all paid for (at least in a timely manner and they do not even care to give us an explanation). Missing a deadline in private sector is not that easy.

I'm pretty sure that those 35,600 were in the pending column when the November charts came out, which shows that the clock definitely should not have started over at the transfer. I'm curious to see what will come out for December... I'm hoping that they completed way more than 400 and that the November number was so low because they didn't really start working on them until the end of the month. I'm just trying to keep some faith that they've pulled/are pulling their act together.

I assure you the 35600 were not there b4 Nov chart came out. I check several times between since the day the petitions were transferred to TSC. They've got the power to do or undo whatever they want

Oh no, I didn't mean that they were there before the November chart. I think what Sarah was asking was if they were originally in the receipts column (rather than pending) on the November chart when it was first released on January 15 or whatever and have since been changed.

I never saw the October chart... do you remember how many were pending then? If it was only a few hundred, I don't know how USCIS could have thought that TSC would have been able to handle such a transfer. Ridiculous.
