Timeline

2 more days and im at 7 months, never would I have thought that the first step in this process would take this long...just incredible. There has to be some reason, a reason that I do not know at this point. I am really hoping for my approval this week.. =/

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Did you have your U.S. Congress person's or Senator's aid investigate your situation yet?

No approvals yet today? Well i contacted the local news. I sent him to this exact forum. I told them my story. Let's see if they are willing to tell my story on the air. And not just my story, our stories. I hope something will happen soon because i have just about given up

hey guys i would like some advise i was planning on moving to a bigger place once my wife got here but since tsc is taking to long i found a great place. would it be wise for me to move now and do a change of address to like my moms house or something? would there be some conflicts? can i do it online? or what would i have to do?

come on tsc we need approval this week??????????

07/28/2010 - Received NOA 1 by snail mail and petition is at CSC

07/15/2010 - Priority Date and Received Date

07/23/2010 - Notice Date

08/01/2010 - Created online Acct.

10/28/2010 - Text and E-mail received that petition has been transfered to TSC

11/05/2010 - Received NOA 1 by snail mail(Transfer Notice) petition transfered to TSC

11/29/2010 - Received text and e-mail petiton was transfered to a uscis office no snail received

01/31/2011 - Received text and e-mail that petition was approved

02/10/2011 - Approved petition has been shiped to NVC

02/14/2011 - Received NOA 2 (hard copy) by snail mail

NVC journey:

02/14/2011 - Received NVC case number and gave e-mails

02/16/2011 - Received IIN,beneficiary id, choice of agent and aos bill by email from NVC

02/17/2011 - Sent DS-3032 by e-mail and paid AOS fee

02/24/2011 - Received email that DS-3032 was accepted

02/25/2011 - Received email bill for visa appliction. payed it the same day

02/28/2011 - Completed I-864 forms

03/01/2011 - Mailed completed I-864

03/04/2011 - Completed and mailed DS-230

03/04/2011 - NVC received AOS

03/07/2011 - NVC received DS-230

03/18/2011 - Received RFE

03/25/2011 - Mailed out missing information

03/28/2011 - NVC received documents

04/07/2011 - CC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

04/15/2011 - Interview date set for 05/19/2011 at 7:30am

Same here... Well, I hope we'll be approved this week - however, I am so pessimistic about NVC, so far it took around a month for people to get the number. I'm exhausted and sick of their lies ("speed up the process" ha...).

Yes, you can change your address online on USCIS website. Register if you haven't yet and log in.

yes I have contacted my congresswoman, they did nothing for me. They just said that if I havent been approved by March, then I should call them and they can try to push them a little harder. She was surprised that cases were being approved in 3-4 months at CSC and reminded me that they used to take a year (trying to make me feel better, didnt work). I also wrote to USCIS ombudsman, put in a service request over a month ago, emailed TSC, called USCIS, so I have been quite proactive. Nothing has seemed to work so I stopped trying to be proactive and am now just waiting..waiting..and waiting some more.
