This process is a perfect example of how life on a whole works. Sometimes getting from A-Z isn't smooth sailing. There will be road blocks to detour around, hurdles to jump over, and mountains to climb, but when you reach the end you are so much more grateful to have gotten there. This process will only make our marriages stronger and our connections deeper. If we can make it through this much waiting, with some of us not even being able to see our spouses for months upon months, trust me that we can make it through anything together.

Keep the faith and hope sky high. Approvals will be coming by the numbers soon enough. We are approaching February, it just HAS to go that way!

I think all of us will be approve on Mid FEB - MARCH ... what do you think?

quiite frankly i recall last year the time frames being smae as this year... January they were in the 60+ day mark, then they got in the 90+ day then by i believe it was April but i may be wrong they took a bunch of folks from VSC and transferred them and they were sitting in a black hole just like we are now watching people pass them. i believe each center does this routinely to keep their stats looking great and in the meantime the american people get their rights taken from them becasue the LIFE ACT has NOT been repealed but USCIS has found a way of ignoring it by transferring all their k-3s out to other centers so they dont have to deal with them... has anyone noticed the large amount of K-3 filers who got transferred to TSC?

The email I received earlier today was from Denice Mitchell. It was a response to my follow up email to her on Thursday which I CC'd Congressman Rohrabacher's aide. I had left the last digit off of the receipt number in my my original email that I sent to Barbara Valarde Monday morning which I forwarded to Denice Mitchell Tuesday and followed up on yesterday. Damn, does that confuse you?

We'll have to wait and see what happens now. At least I know that a manager at TSC is personally looking into my situation.

I am mentally and physically exhausted with this whole ordeal.

Oh, I also got an email from a writer for the local paper tonight, going to answer it now. Regardless of what happens, I want to make damn sure that this whole fiasco is made known to the general public.

i'm with you on this, BIG TIME

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

This waiting reminds me of the lyrics to the song that Mike and I danced to for our first dance at our wedding, It's Only Time by the Magnetic Fields.

Why would I stop loving you a hundred years from now?

It's only time. It's only time.

What could stop this beating heart once it's made a vow?

It's only time. It's only time.

If rain won't change your mind, let it fall. The rain won't change my heart at all.

Lock this chain around my hand, throw away the key.

It's only time. It's only time.

Years falling like grains of sand mean nothing to me.

It's only time. It's only time.

If snow won't change your mind, let it fall. The snow won't change my heart, not at all.

I'll walk your lands and swim your seas.

Marry me. Marry me.

Then in your hands I will be free.

Marry me. Marry me.

Why would I stop loving you a hundred years from now?

The waiting is really difficult, but it doesn't matter how long this takes and how hard it is. It's only time, and no amount of problems will deter us. Even if we got denied for some reason for me to move to the US, we'd work on him moving here.

You've got to be serious for these cross-border relationships. If it wasn't true love, why would anyone go to all this trouble? It cracks me up that the song even includes the lines, "I'll walk your lands and swim your seas." I sure will, if and when we get approved. :P

Agreed again, and great lyrics. This waiting IS proving that we have the greatest love of all. To get through this at the start of a relationship/marriage, proves that we can get through anything. It cements the love, it tightens the love. We have said many times, this may be a painful journey, but deep in our hearts we are happy because we know we have found our soul mate, and we know that, whatever happens, we're together for life - and maybe beyond, who knows.

Good morning to my VJ family.

I had so much wished for Friday approvals for the folks that are faithfully, vigilantly waiting!

It has been 4 months now since i have seen my wife. Tomorrow afternoon God willing I will be somewhere over the arctic on a 777 headed for China to see my wife and celebrate Chinese New Year with her.

As I write this there is a note of bittersweet knowing that others will not be with their loved ones.:(.

Hold fast my friends your day will come!! The wheels of government sometimes turn slowly, but they do turn..

Your day will come and this part of the journey will become a distant memory.

Good luck everyone. I will try to log in from China. I am gone for a week.

Rickey.
