For those who already got mad at USCIS (I am considering myself at first place in this catagory)

Here are few assumtions about USCIS to cheer our selves.

(1) Not all the touches are logged in.

(2) USCIS is strictly working on the case in order they recieved.

(3) They are there to help us.

(4) USCIS website is useless.

(5) July and June filers case have already been processed at CSC and they just needed to be approved that is the reason we do not see touches while august filers are touched.

(6) TSC people are more efficient than CSC.

(7) They really want to make 5 month target.

Now the facts

(1) USCIS website and the touch system is not reliable.

(2) We are the unlucky fellows chosen to be experimented at another service center whose staff is new to I130.

(3) August filers are processed for sure (they got touches), but no surity for June and July filers.

skynaut (i couldnt do quotes from 2pgs, IDK how to do it if possible)

i'm usually pretty good about kepeing cheerful as i'm the one everyone usually comes to with problems and advice but this process has just been wearing me thin with the constant attacks on our marriage. at least i know if we make it thru this we'll make it thru anything.

Im sorry! I understand, thank God I get along with my parents in-law, however some of the uncles and aunts.... not so much! I feel very depresed as well since im not with my love. My lawyer is also making me very angry since she never answers the questions i have after repeated e-mails. I get no news from TSC or my lawyer....Great... Stay strong! Hopefully things will get better for all of us!

on the lawyer thing, luckily there is a wealth of info from people here who are quick to answer!

I hear you about the lawyer. We have taking things into our own hands. We must keep calm, and keep the faith. I'm sure the July filers will get good news pretty soon. Does anyone know whether the USCIS are working on Friday?

VERY DOUBTFUL! it's common for day after thanksgiving (and christmas if on a thursday) to be off.

Virtual hugs for everyone!!!

I suggest to everyone who is waiting to gather your information together for the next step (NVC), like the affidavit of support & DS 230 forms we will need to fill out. It's been keeping me busy and (partially) sane!

i did that immediately after sending the i-130 LOL! and have bene updating the info as needed.

Has anyone at all as far as we know, been approved out of Texas?

i think there have been many RFEs, 2 or 3 denials, and i'm not sure if the 2 or 3 approvals i'v seen posted have been out of TSC

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Well, I got an email today as well stating that my application was being transferred to a USCIS center for processing. It is my first 'touch' since being transferred to TSC. I'm a July filer - receiving my written NOA1 on 9 July. I hope this is good news.

Does anyone know the next steps once I received the NOA2??!! I'm applying for K3 visa.

I just received that same email just now!

Once you receive your NOA2, your case will be submitted to the NVC. You will have to submit the Affidavit of Support, then the DS-230 and necessary paperwork.
