Read the first couple of pages from this thread. How naive and innocent we once were.

I went to my congresswoman's office yesterday and her immigration rep was on lunch! Anyway she said she would get back to me in 24-48 hours. It's Friday and since our lovely US congress barely works 50% of the time I hope she'll get back to me on Monday. She's supposed to be one of the best in the business.

Sometimes I wish the thumbs up smiley was a middle finger smiley. I'd put insert it every time I wrote the word TSC :thumbs:

you know, i was reading through old chats not long ago and thinking the exact same thing LOL

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

NVC (33 days from #assigned to CC)
02.17.2011 Case number assigned 02.18.2011 Case # & INN received. Gave email addresses. Emailed DS 3032. Paid AOS Fee 02.22.2011 AOS Fee appeared as paid. Mailed AOS. DS 3032 accepted 02.24.2011 AOS received. IV bill generated and paid 02.25.2011 IV bill fee appeared as paid. Mailed IV 02.28.2011 IV packet received 03.09.2011 AOS entered in the system 03.11.2011 IV entered in the system 03.15.2011 AVR RFE 03.16.2011 Sent RFE response. "spreadsheet design: tracking visa immigration timelines for 100+ people throughout the multiple steps/stages calculating overall average times as well" ... something like that ;-) :D
