i passed impatient long ago... :crying: <--- that's the best emoticon i could find since there is no stake through the heart emoticon. so depressed while waiting and getting tortured by the in-laws in our marriage; it's Soooo difficult to not hate them.... my grandmother taught me better, but i dont believe she ever met people like this.

i was very frustrated when i saw the 'receipt date' for july had changed on i-797 after the transfer... add'l time or not, i just want to see the NOA2

so depressed we're not even having thanksgiving, just going to stay busy.

Cheer up!!! Who knows maybe they are working on your application at the moment. If you don't get any touches, it doesn't mean anything. Some people get approved w/o any touches at all. So calm down and be positive!

Skynaut, you are out of patience? :) let us now to cheer you up.

Cip.

haha please cheer me up :) Although I see some other people here need more cheering up than I do whistling.gif

Priority date doesn't matter for IR-1/CR-1 visas since there isn't a limit on the number of visas per year. They go by notice date, or the NOA1 as we all like to call it. :)

I go to post office to see if I got I-130 approved. I check email and check on my status several times a day. No response at all. I am one of the July filers that is hanging on a hope of approval. No touches and no approval. The most interesting thing is august filer are having touched and we, July fileres are totally left out. I could not figure out how to react. My 5 months is getting over.

Just to cheer you up, it seems not all touches are logged. When we finally got through to someone regarding our case, they informed us the internal computer showed that our case had been "touched" on 19th November. That never appeared on our online status, and still hasn't. Just because there are no touches evident to US, doesn't mean the case isn't being looked at.

I highly, highly doubt it.

Hope I'm wrong.

Virtual hugs for everyone!!!

I suggest to everyone who is waiting to gather your information together for the next step (NVC), like the affidavit of support & DS 230 forms we will need to fill out. It's been keeping me busy and (partially) sane!

Me too Jenny! It really helps to feel like you are doing something, anything, to move the process forward. Sometimes it feels like I can't wait until this is all over and we can have 'normal' lives as a married couple! It's a very strange experience, for sure.
