Congratulations to all the approvals!!! Woot Woot!!! I know you guys must be sooooooo thrilled! I anticipate that same feeling!

Ok I'm starting to wonder if we should be contacting anyone whether it be a congressman or Garza and the other person. We were told to call back NCSC this coming Friday if we were not contacted about our case prior too.

Welcome to this forum. As you can tell it's been pretty crazy here lately. This CSC to TSC thing has been a hugh fiasco. Glad you found us. Everyone here is helpful and supportive and shares great info to help us all.

I'm just curious. When you made your call to USC, did you file the service request with the original person that answered the phone (level 1) or were you put on hold and transfered to a "higher level" (level 2) person?

I know your question was for someone else, but I just put in a service request yesterday and can tell you my experience if it helps. The tier 1 that I spoke to was able to put in the service request for me (but it sounded like she first needed to see if the system "would let her" put in the service request). She confirmed that the processing time is indeed five months, and when she asked when I filed, I asked her if she wanted my received date/priority date or my notice date. She let me give her my priority date, which was great because my NOA1 took so long (19 days). She gave me the standard "someone will get back to you in 30 days or less, and you can always call back with questions, etc." I think I'll give them a week before sending an email to the follow up address.

She was quite nice, and I didn't complain or ask questions or say anything about this whole TSC mess because I know that tier 1 people don't tend to tell you much that is meaningful, and it seems like escalating doesn't lead to satisfactory results anyway. I don't think the service request itself will do anything, but it seems like a necessary first step and at least now I have a referral number to use when I send my follow up email.

I'm calling my congresswoman's office again tomorrow (I left a message today on the immigration caseworker's answer machine), and I've drafted a letter explaining the situation and requesting assistance.

since yours has also passed 5 months send the e-mail and mention how it was transferred from CSC to TSC and that they are most likekly overwhelmed with all the files sent to them and mention that they must have gotten a lot of files to adjudicate, try to be sincere it never hurts to show that you feel for them :thumbs:

04.18.2013: I-751 packet received at VSC (check cleared on 05.03)

05.04.2013: Received NOA1 (dated 04.19)

05.11.2013: Received biometrics appointment notice for 06.05.2013 (notice dated 05.08)

05.13.2013: Completed biometrics as a walk-in (would have been out of town for scheduled appointment)

08.21.2013: APPROVED! (Received email update that USCIS has ordered production of new card)

Im with you...but all we can do is just keep praying.. stay faithful and know that the right time will come for all of us.
