Perhaps the Magic Eight Ball is what's really used when our applications are considered for approval every week :innocent:

Hahaha!! I asked the Magic Eight Ball if TSC would approve my petition this week. The answer: "Outlook not so good." The Magic Eight Ball must be well aware of the fiasco at TSC...

For the record, last night, the official email of our approval came at 11.59pm EST. Keep the faith!

It could be a LONG night ahead! blush.gif

i stay up almost every night (or get up) to check after 12:30am

lol could you imagine if this was the hold music you would hear every time you called the USCIS?

oh that would be so hilarious if they now changed the hold music to that!!!

Yes, we had a knock back from Officer Vara a couple of times, then came the better one from Officer Garza. I think we sent around 5 TSC emails - 3 knock backs, and 2 replies from Officer Garza. Our real break through was when we mailed the Barbara lady, though I don't honestly know if that did the trick. We had senator, lawyer AND us working on this, so maybe it's just pressure, pressure. Or maybe, it would have gone through any way. We'll never know.

Always best to be pro - active though - if you never buy a ticket, you'll never win the lottery. good.gif

maybe that's the key... you have to go up the ladder, cant just jump up it

wonder how many already approved started with Vara, then got Garza because i know there were a couple posted a few weeks back who said they got Garza and got no approval, but i dont believe they got Vara, only Garza

Thanks again ezzie! I couldn't believe it when I saw the text this afternoon, I was shaking all over. Can't wait to add more people tonight to the spreadsheet! :D

congrats!! i missed this first time through!!

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Does the processing time start from the priority date or Notice date (NAO1) date? My priority date is August 27th and NOA1 date is August 30th. I was wondering if I should send the email tomorrow or wait till August 30th.

Another pointer for you from last night is that the site updated first, but literally seconds later came our email. I think it's almost an instantaneous thing. It could be very late when they start pushing these through.

Saylin - did you send an email to Velarde, Mitchell or Garza or you just simply waited it out and the approval came by itself? I have the same timeline as yours. Please advise. Thanks!

I didn't send any emails. I wasn't transferred to TSC, I'm from CSC. I'm just the spreadsheet person for this thread :D
