On the uscis site it still shows initial review for both the i129 and i130 cut we did receive a hard copy for the approved i130. so should she call the embasy (she is 1 1/2 hours away by plane) and what does she ask them? please let me know.

sorry i didnt see you said you rec'd the hard copy for the i-130 so when you call the USCIS for the i-129F what is the status on that? have they closed it? if so i would think that means NVC has rec'd your paperwork, if not then i would think USCIS still has...

i would still call embassy because with TSC not accustomed to processing these for so long and you being one of first approved they veyr well could have forwarded paperwork (both i-130 and i-129f) to embassy ... who knows, but i would NOT just sit back and wait, i would shake eveyr tree until something fell out

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

NAB: I hope that your approval comes soon. Wasn't TomJoyce's petition escalated? But USCIS, if they sent out an erroneous approval should have corrected their mistake and admitted their fault. I wonder if they lost TomJoyce's petition? In any case, we need to make sure that we don't attack each other. Lets save our energy to fighting for our families petition approvals and helping each other.

listen, the only person who is borderline attacking is YOU so please stop

you have ordered Jenny to apologize in a situation she did not error

now you are subtlely insinuating we're attacking each other

please stop

you are not our father

miind your own business

now THAT was an attack see the difference?

people are attempting to help each other and sometimes the written word comes across wrong but that doesnt mean "attacks" are happening... this thread is NOT the "normal" online forum

I got the "Garza" email this morning too. Let's see what happens??? I also emailed Barbara and Denise yesterday, no response yet.

I am a little worried that they may have been "over-emailed". I will be pleasantly surprised if my email got some attention.

Did someone actually ask me to apologize for voicing my opinion? I haven't gone through the previous posts so I don't know. Yes, let's all take a breath and get back to topic. But thanks for having my back, nab.

yeah...seems they don't email back. As for Officer Garza, we could have all been duped into thinking its something good when we receive that e-mail, rather than just a standard response...especially since all of us have received the same e-mail. You clutch to things that give you hope, but sometimes they are just false hope. Time will tell.

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Keep the faith, everything works out for the very best

We naturally want to look for (or project) patterns that might not be there, or are irrelevant to our purpose. This thread has been much more of a benefit than not, so let's keep our eye on the prize.

of course, and I hope there is a pattern. I would love for everyone to get approved overnight...

That's the exact same response I got.

so either it is an email to appease us or it will truly help our case get reviewed? I sure hope and I want to believe that it is the latter...
