CONGRATULATIONS!! Another approval!!

KEEP THE FAITH all of you - your turns will come!!

Wow, that was late for an approval notice - still time for everyone!

Wednesday is usually a BIG DAY!! good.gif

Val and Gary: I am not sure what precipitated the approval. I just called USCIS today (01/25/2011) at 10:30 AM PST and they put in a SR for me. But my Senator and Congresswoman got involved about 2 weeks ago with request for information. So I am assuming that the emails of the approvals came in in the late PM hours of the 25th. For some reason, I couldn't sleep, prayed about the situation, and got up and turned on the computer. Well, it says that He will answer before you even ask!!! Glory to God.

I hope that all you that are so anxiously waiting get approvals soon!

congresswomans office called today...told me that it would take up to 60 days. She was shocked to hear that people were being approved in 3 months, and told me that if it made me feel any better that 5 years ago, it was taking USCIS about a year to approve I-130 petitions. Needless to say, it didnt make me feel any better haha.

that's why there is K-3, because CR1/IR1 did use to take long time, K-3 allowed couple to be united during the wait... but looks like we too are being screwed.

Met with Tony Capitelli today, District Representative for Congressman Rohrabacher. All he had me do was to fill out a form but I had to speak up to give him some background, I felt like I was inconveniencing him. I am so fvcking tired of this bvllsh1t. No offense to you guys but no one that matters in this whole goddamn fiasco seems to give a flying ** what is going on. What does it take to get someones attention?

not to be morbid, just stating what has been going through my mind for quite some time now, i think it's going to take a death or some other drastic event, and even then i'm not sure they (beauracrats) will care unless media light is all over it like a bum on a burger, asking them why they are not addressing this issue.

i have been postponing surgeries till my husband can be here because of past medical problems. quite frankly i'm scared, and pissed. he should have been here by next month, not hoping for approval of 1st stage by next month.

You're absolutely right on this one. When he was saying that I was saying out loud "and you'd rather keep my wife out of the USA" instead of bringing her first as we are those who play by the rule. Here is the example of their thank you we're getting for playing by the rules.

i'm beginning to learn as i grow older that those who play by the rules, lose.

i have given this much thought... if illegals were required to return to their country to wait for their approval, i doubt there would be so many marrying for a GC (waiver approval forgiveness for being here illegally or not, that would just be only for the time they crossed over until time they came forward, now go back and wait there)

if they had to go to back of line like we have to there would not be incentive ... this is what people do not understand, you can build all fences you want, you can deport, but if you do not take the incentive away they problem does not go away.

Added you! :)

Thanks a lot! I love making spreadsheets, so I'm more than happy to do it for all of you! :D Now if only I could get paid for doing these spreadsheets, lol. rofl.gif

even unpaid work can be added to a resume!! dont forget that!

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Nonetheless, it's my birthday today so I'm REALLY hoping I'll get a nice surprise from our friends at the TSC

I got a call back from the senator's office. They said they spoke with a congressional liaison and my file is finally assigned to an officer as of yesterday. I also received a call from the ombudsmen who said she would contact them also. The senator's office said they would put "congressional interest" on my case and hopefully this would help. I hope today is a lucky day. I never received a reply from barbara or denise or tsc follow up
