congresswomans office called today...told me that it would take up to 60 days. She was shocked to hear that people were being approved in 3 months, and told me that if it made me feel any better that 5 years ago, it was taking USCIS about a year to approve I-130 petitions. Needless to say, it didnt make me feel any better haha.

Nah, I don't believe her.

You, SqdnGns & waitingfordlord will be done before the week is through - and so will many others I hope!

Don't forget, just yesterday we got a hard copy mail saying we were in "additional review" and it could take up to 6 months!

Hey Gary & Val

Congrats The LORD answered my Prayers within 24 hours :innocent::innocent:

See my prayers must have helped

Im glad now if we can get my other

Marine friend approved and many others

will be the highlight of my day.

Miracles happen when you work hard to fight in what you beleive in

and dream big and beleive in your dreams ...They will come true

I sent out 75 to 100 e mails to TSC and Washington and i was lucky to get

to be the first to be approved. Now as i said lets get the other done.

Good LUCK

Ron

Ron, I HAVE to echo what others have already said- thanks so much to you and Wade for all your efforts. Seriously man- kudos to you guys

Congrats to all of you who finally made it thru this nightmare. I've been watching this thread for quite a while now and really felt for you guys. Unreal! TSC screwed this up bigtime, but thank God they are finally starting to clean up the mess they've made of your lives.

Again Congrats and best wishes for a speedy trip thru NVC.

P.S. For those of you still waiting, continued prayers for a speedy approval...now that it appears that TSC actually does approve petitions.

Congratulations to both of you. I wish you smooth sailing through NVC and the Consulate. I can't help but think that what I'm doing so far is not making any difference at all, but I will continue the fight.

I second that bro- we HAVE to keep the faith!! B-)

I have been following this forum for awhile. I am amongst the group of people that filed in July with a priority date of the 6th. I have contacted a senator, emailed Barbara and even spoken with the CIS Ombudsman today. She told me that even if i got an approval today i am looking at another 6 months of a wait until the whole process is finished.

The immigration system should be ashamed of itself. I have a 7 month old son that hasnt seen his father since he was a month old. The case is almost 7 months in and they are saying around another 6??! I cant believe this is happening to all of us.

Thanks for all of the support and information that has gone on in this forum.

Sorry to hear about your situation :( I certainly hope your family is reunited soon...

Also, welcome to the VJ family! As you can see, you're definitely not alone!

Skype is what my wife and I use. If you have the iPhone, the new Skype app is amazing! I'm able to show my wife Miami and I can have a video-conference from wherever I am! The best part- no wi-fi needed, Skype for iPhone works on 3g

I just found this CSC to TSC forum!

Jan 27th will be 6 months for me and I am separated from my 1.5 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter (and husband), I'm going mad!

Did anyone else get a notification in late November that their case was transferred from TSC to "a local USCIS office"?

My senator checked up on my case just now and she said Detroit (my local USCIS office) said they didn't have it and that it was still at TSC. Anyone have a similar experience?
