California Service Center To Texas Service Center

Some news: I just got off the phone with a Tier 2 person at USCIS...

They are now informing everyone that ALL petitions that were transferred from California to the Texas Service Center are "on hold" for 60 days beyond normal processing times. She explained that the average total time for our group will be 7 months. She seemed very aware this this was affecting a select group (namely us). No further explanation was provided.

I asked to have my petition transferred to another service center and was denied. I am calling my Congressman as I write this.

But is even THAT to be believed? There are so many bizarre explanations, untruths, mistruths and outright lies being told we have no idea what to believe.

For example THIS is what Tier two told our lawyer just yesterday:

She said that the review of the case was completed on 1/19/2011, The approval however is still pending. She placed service request #xxxxxxxxxxxx and that the target date is 2/5/2011.

####### is that all about?? Does anyone at USCIS NOT have their head so far up their ####### as to not know how to process applicants in order??? FFS!!!!!!

Who did you speak with? Name and agent ID or whatever they call it. I have a meeting at Congressman's office this afternoon and would like to pass this on.

Just tweeted this:

USCIS_Sloth Wade Grant @USCIS why Tier2 CSR's telling applicants that cases transferred from CSC 2 TSC onhold for 60 days? We suffer due to @USCIS incompetence!!

That is something I do believe. They simpley transferred us to TSC although TSC was not prepared to work on our applications. In addition they probably transfered a bunch of other business visa petitions that took priority over our petitions.

But is even THAT to be believed? There are so many bizarre explanations, untruths, mistruths and outright lies being told we have no idea what to believe.

There are a few of us that have been approved for expedite for a very long time. The only person I know who has been approved, and who had an expedite was Jellybelly last Friday. I think Ron was approved for expedite, and he managed to force his approval through yesterday. Clearly the approval of expedite means nothing.

That's just too heart wrenching. I don't want to know. Fairness is everything in life for me, and this just 'aint fair.

I am just at this point really frustrated. I am trying to have good positive thoughts but it is hard to see people already going to the NVC and us july filers waiving bye to them. On the other had, I feel that if we bug the TSC too much, we will get on the bottom of the pile. We already contacted senators and congress people.. no response yet of anything...

You put into words exactly my feelings. No one, but no one (with the exception of Ron), has been able to get through to Texas. The USCIS operatives are possibly being told what to say to fend us off. I AM positive, I think we'll see approvals trickle through.

It's just so unfair, and I would like to think that we'll be rewarded for our wait in the end. (NOT gonna happen, but I can dream).

It is always a worry of mine that we could potentially upset them and they get pissed at us. It's a very fine line.

Several people who contacted thier Senators got approved. I wouldn't say there has been no response. Still, it's who you know though. I think that things are going to get a lot worse for USCIS processing times and the government in general. Republicans are proposing a 5-year pay freeze for employees, budget and personel cuts through attrition. For those filing now it could take over a year for NOA2.

This are good news for me, we have already 6 months and 7 days and this means that in 3 weeks will be approved . But once again I really do not believe them because of the lies that they have give us so far :bonk:

I become confused when I hear the word "Service" used with these agencies:

US Customs & Immigration "Service"

Internal Revenue "Service"

US Postal "Service"

Telephone "Service"

Cable TV "Service"

State, City, County Public "Service"

Customer "Service"

Secret "Service"

None of these are what I thought "Service" meant.

But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to "Service" a few cows.

BAM!!! It all came into focus.

Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.

Ok I have been waiting. My transferred was nov 2 2010. My last touch Nov 24, 2010. I have been waiting more than 60 days as of yesterday after and no even one touch. The expedite letter is a joke. It is just computer generated. They never asked me to send proof for my daughter medical reasons and I qualify for an expedite? It is a complete joke. I just think if you have a good congress person that actually cares for the people you will get through. However, I think is one or two out of the 36000 transferred.

it is not that I am not positive, but I am realistic. Govt offices are equal to bureaucracy and unfortunately like the officer I spoke to.. she said I am so sorry but you were on the batch transferred to TSC. What does that mean? yeah that is what I thought. I don't mean to be mean to people who have approvals already, believe me I am grateful you did, but does that bother me...YES!! some of you are behind us! but am I gonna be mean to you about it? NO it is not your fault.. you were just blessed to have an approval.

I just feel that I am gonna stop even thinking about it and wait like people before used to wait years to get their approval. I guess Citizens have no rights in the USA... the land of the free...

Hahahaha!!! That seems to be the type of "service" we're paying lots of $ for right now! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Please let us now how your meeting with your Congressman goes today. Maybe, just maybe, we've finally found an ally in this mess who will do something to help those of us that are playing the immigration game legally. But that's definitely a big maybe.
