a year ago i had the paperwork filled out (actually 14months ago but a year ago i was READY to mail) and this stage of the process was only taking 62 days.

sooooo..... typically, this time of year after the holidays would be just a hair over 2 months for approvals. it kept getting longer and longer, with a hold up, was it around april? then it seemed to open back up (after another one of these 'transfers') and petitions were being approved in 3 months but when they started to get more long again i began to get worried and actually sent ours without something i had been waiting from him. guess if i was going to do that i should have just sent last january (kicked myself over that many times but wanted all docs there)

not sure if they keep their stats up by just shipping out petitions to sit in other centers and the frustrated people refile (like Ms. Scott said to do)... at this time of year we can get through in just 2months if we refile, or we hang in there on hopes of that 'canned meat' (another 30 days). decisions decisions.... are all attorneys saying refile?

seems like only time they really stay well below the 5 months is after they've shipped petitions out... are they doing that twice a year EVERY year?? are they doing it more than twice a year? these are things we need to find out

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

If your calling from OUTSIDE THE USA IT WONT ALLOW YOU TO TALK DIRECTLY TO A AGENT.

You can only hear the status online automated report of your status. You cant talk

live to a agent there out of country. Only if your in country. ! ! ! !

Also if your outside the USA you cant e mail to TSC either it will only allow you

to get a autoimatic reply back saying you have to call NSNC at the 800 number only.

East Coast Time 8:00 to 8:00

You cant request to speak to Officer Garza also, becasue you cant get a live person.

Good LUCK

Hey gang- just dropping by to share some info. Gary, the attorney I had spoken with this morning confirmed your theory (at least I think it was yours) about not placing too many service requests on petitions. Supposedly there's a tendency to slow processing if one were to call repeatedly to place service requests on petitions. I was paged at work before I could ask more questions- hopefully I'll be able to learn more this evening.

Cheers and all the best to the VJ family

Sorry Ron, all of that is totally untrue. Val called USCIS numerous times and spoke to many agents whist she was in the UK, and I have had replies to emails from TSC other than the standard.

Woow I need to know why when i call than i can only get a status of my case and no number to call and speak to any person Live. Could you ask Val if she feeling better to let me know what number she pushed after you was connected to get an agent at 1 800 375-5283, they never gave me an option to press another number to get anybody live.

When I e mail TSC here ( tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov ) i just get a automated reply back saying I have to file for a SR, no number to request an live agent. or does my e amil ever be seen by anybody. Maybe you can provide me that also.

Sorry if i gave out info sorry but I assumed because I couldnt get thru to the 800 number it was becasue i was out of the USA,

they gave me a update of my case stauts but from some automated voice recording.

I would be glad if i have the numbers and the button numbers order to press to get a live person.

And the e mail i get back is the one somebody listed here in this threat in the last day or so also.

Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks

Ron

Sure Ron. When she's around I'll ask how she got through and post it on here. Might it be by hitting * then 0? I'm not sure - I didn't call myself, but Val did many times before Christmas. good.gif

As for the email, yes, I normally get that same message back as you, but just once, or twice I have had differing responses, so the mails do get through.

Have to good day as it's evening here & snowing heavy here in Ukraine

Have a good day and bless us getting approvals soon ! ! ! ! !

oh by the way how can i get 3 or 4 of those shirts "" I SERVIVED TSC ""

Interesting for my wife as she said it's strange your country taking so

posted this on wrong thread :P

rather than try to find a link on why we were sent to TSC, let's find a link between the approvals...

not all got an email from that same officer garza and not all who rec'd an email from her/him got an aproval

is there any other pattern??

are all i-130s or were there i-129Fs as well? are all beneficiarys/petitioners young/old, been married long/short time, have/dont have children, got senator/congressman involved.

the latter one sticks out at me more than anything, because of what they say when you follow up with their office: "they said they will pull the petition and give a decsion in 30-45 days"... how many people have been told that? were the ones who were approved told that as well? is TSC not even working on them till they are prodded like this?

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. But i will try again and i will also keep trying to send e mail to just get an answer also.

other than the respond text.

Thanks for your time also bless that you get your approvals soon also.

The criteria may be different for different countries. No problem calling USCIS from the UK an talking to an agent. I'm sure when Val comes on the board later she'll tell you how she did it.
