I was thinking and because of the back ground checks, I asked my attorney what he knows and he said TSC is out of control which we already know.

But 1 thing he told me i didnt think of becasue how long they must do back ground checks for some are not as difficult as other. He told me if somebody was married a few times it take longer to do these checks, plus the fact the are training new people to handle these I-130.

So i have to go along with many approvals could be from people who are very young and dont have much of a background check to do, being they are approved sooner.

Everybody take a look at your past and take the fact there are 35,000 people some take shorter some take much longer.

But it could also have to do with the idea they just werent not expecting 35,000 I-130 over night.

So since there is no set pattern yet we dont really know until the next few weeks, and how many or what people are approved and how soon.

But sooner than later we will be approved, the only probelms with be this. What it will cause at NVC in 30 to 90 days once these all start arriving there. Since many are already waiting 1 or 2 months already for NVC.

So what happens to the new people arriving at NVC soon.

The system not ready for them. Or 100,000 or more start getting sent to NVC the system will stop and really back up.

So it will be interesting to see in the next 30 to 60 days what going on.

Just a big PILE up comming soon to someplace like NVC.

Approves here will come but what next tomorrow or next month to get us DONE ?

Lucky I'm here with my wife but soon if things dont change i will start DCF here in Ukraine the Kyiv US Embassy if im not done by March 1st out of NVC. At least i will be done by the July

sooner than what's going on and taking now to get me done. I have the Expedite and even though they are lagging behind about them it still could be a asset later if they get the butts in gear soon.

Good LUCK

:innocent::thumbs:

Interesting info there Ron.

I too was thinking of the HUGE back up at NVC when this batch of approvals goes through, but then I started to think maybe that's one of the reasons TSC is working slowly, so as not to create a log jam at NVC. Like traffic, better to slow the whole thing down, than for it to come to a dead stop.

Not sure what the hold-up in my case is. Neither of us have been married before. My wife has traveled to middle-eastern countries for vacation, but that's not unusual among Europeans. I'm not sure if they have access to her passport at this stage anyway. I heard a lot of people say they think it's taking long because they do or once did work for the federal government or the military. That could be my problem. Ugh, I've had to go through 2 background checks for the federal government in the last 2 years, once as contractor and once as a federal employee. The second one was right after I sent in my I-130. You would think that they would share information but that is obviously not the case.

I can't believe they don't share this kind of info. It wouldn't make any sense  It was one of the reasons we thought our petition was going to be a no brainer process, me and my Taylormade man have to go through background checks for professional reasons. I'm getting more and more confused with their sense of logic :help:

wonder if the f_ing USCIS will help with the cost of shipping the dead spouse's body to be with the other spouse... wonder if news agencies will give a ####### then. they care about drug addicts and drunks who never cared about their 9 children they spawned and splatter these losers all over the news talkign about "2nd chances"; how about chances for upstanding decent hardworking folks who are just attempting to live what life they have through financial, medical, and family struggles with extra garbage of govt red tape?!

even HAITI with cholera is looking better than the USA now

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

IMO this is because of the over-reaction to 9/11. We need FBI checks on everybody coming into the country as a permanent resident? Like they couldn't cause a problem on a 6-month tourist visa if they really wanted to. The real loss due to terrorisms is billions of dollars and untold number of man-hours spent on useless gestures so we feel safer. And the kicker is that we do it to ourselves.

Nope, nothing yet............

My thinking was that by doing this, it puts a face to the issue. Who knows, I'm grasping at straws here.

if the myspace person is the real Officer Garza, I would like to add:

I commend you for making the jump from hassling skateboarders and helping old grannies out of their cars to assisting your fellow citizens reunite with their loved ones. Keep up the good work, I meant "rent-a-cop" in a good way...security guards are very valuable to our country. In my opinion, they are part of the Department of Homeland Security, even if they don't get the same recognition. You are my hero

here's a tissue , you have a little brown there on your nose.

:rofl:Yeah. He was too real and human. You guys have been killing me with all these suspicions and captioned pics. (keep em comin' it's the only thing we got left) I'm going to work now so for the 6 hours I'm not on VJ I can day dream about it. And I don't know about the rest of you but I keep my depression/sarcasm/hatred only to this forum. My family and friends don't really know how upset this situation makes me. So I do stay positive in my "real" life and I hope that I can continue to share my true feelings with you. If you're having a bad day don't be afraid to share it here.

i understand, me too...

No response yet but I am still working on it. I'm in SoCal so the Immigration issue only gets attention if it is about ILLEGALS.

Me personally, I tell my friends and family about how pissed off and depressed this situation has me. They really need to know how people's lives are affected by this BS. If enough people are aware of the nightmare that we're going through, maybe someday, like 50 years from now when were all dead and are I-130s still haven't been approved, future generations of Americans and Permanent Residents will not have to fight this battle to bring their family home to the US...

none of them want to look sympathetic to foreigners/immigrants coming here in such an anti-immigrant climate
