After reading all these posts. I am glad you made this point. I didnt want to be the one to say it. But thats the same response I received when our case was transfered from CSC to FL, from a immigration officer at our local office were our case is . I requested two infopasses when I didnt get an interview date after waiting the 5mths regular timeframe and then 4 more months after the transfer date 6/17/10. He stated that they needed to ask me a few questions and that I would receive an interview date within 60 days. NOthing yet, impatiently waiting....

Im not sure if this applies, but I found this on immigrate2us. Im thinking it may not BUT Im throwing it out there just in case.

anita: I am LPR, I have applied I-130 for my husband on Dec9, 2009. I have just got the letter it says

Notice Type: Transfer notice

and

preliminary processing of the above above application has been completed, and it has been transfered to the USCISoffice at: 6500 e campus circle drive , irving, tx75063. That office will notify you when they schedule an interview on the aplication or pretition. Any futher inquires should be made to that office

I was just wondering is this mean my I-130 is aproved? what is the next process after this?

katherine: No, it does not meant that. It means that, for some reason (usually, although not always, involving questions about the relationship), they want to conduct an interview before adjudicating the I130.

http://immigrate2us.net/forum/showthread.php?86126-Laurel-Katherine-Chat-log-11-3-2010&p=1033337#post1033337

For anyone with any queries re legal matters, this is a great source of advice on a Wednesday. Its Laurels free advice / chat service.

Again, if it doesnt apply I apologize.

crazy three :crying:

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

You have to be insistent when requesting a T2. Lots of times they will try to dissuade you, ask for the operators name and agent # to be repeated, then make a note of it, and then speak to a T2.

I would like nothing better than to be approved asap. But, realistically-speaking, they have until the end of December to process those of us who received our NOA1s in July 2010. <sigh> This is so frustrating. A lesson in patience (and powerlessness) if ever there was one.

I am not that negative person, but when I tried to search about this waiting game nightmare, I found something strange. Has anyone tried to look VisaBulletin ? The F2A catagory (spouces of permenent residents) has moved super sonically during last 2 months, and current cutoff date for those is 1st june 2010 on Nov 1, 2010.

I respect this speed, but expediting these applications should not be at the cost of US Citizen's family rights.

Also, USCIS says if your application is out of 5 months time frame has not been updated in last 60 days then and then we can investigate them,,,, I don't know if this is good for Texas moved applications or not.

Mr. E

Why would you think anything else as if it could be bad or not .

First of all if you know anything about the USCIS. You would

more than consider the transfer a good sign not MAYBE BAD.

USCIS could have left all of us waiting for the CSC and just

leave us back logged us even more farther back than they are now.

I take USCIS doesn't want a more back up back log than there

already is.

I would think in a more positive way that they did US a favor

moving us so the USCIS gets all of us done in the 5 month

stated they should be.

SO I take for all here to see this a good sign. It should

be less than 60 days until approval for those NOA-1 dated of

August 10th earlier.

Now let's see if what I says holds true.

I have no probelms with USCIS doing right for us, not make

it worse. I welcome anybody else comments I dont worry I'm

fair to let them do the work and when it's time they will

do it and you'll get approved.

Ron

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and I have a few questions that maybe you guys can help me with. I sent in my I-130 to the chicago service center in June. They recieved it on the 1st of july. I got a notification by mail on July 15th that said they had recieved my case, however the letter was sent from the California Cervice Center. Once i made my USCIS account for status update i checked it EVERYDAY and i never got a touch. Four months passed n i get a notification on the 5th of November via e-mail that my case was also transfered to Texas service center on November 1st and on the 7th i got the letter notification at home. I never got a notification that my case was sent to the CSC after i sent it to the Chicago office. Is it normal that my case hasnt been touched other then this or that i have not heard from them about my case?
