I agree, but the more I think about it, TSC were busy ACCEPTING our transferred files in November. They got them on Nov 4th, and then spent around 20 days getting them in the system. It's not surprising they didn't approve much. I'm hopeful things are moving now, but TSC still has a long way to go.

Hi Val & Gary - Is this actually Val or Gary? :) I often see your posts and know you've been waiting for action after a medical expedite that was approved in Nov. I have an expedite that was approved 12/17. Crazy, eh? I told my hubby that I want to try what I'm calling "the wayne dyer experiment" which is to truly put only positive energy, thoughts & words out there into the universe. we find ourselves complaining and worrying and bitching every day about this, and so I want to see if "what you put out there is what you get." :) Anyone wanna join us in the "positive energy" movement? For those who are religious, this could also be considered prayers as well I think. However you define it, I just wonder if hundreds of us here in this boat can make a difference if we make a pact to put positive out there instead of negative. Corny? Maybe. But hey maybe it'll just work? LOL

We both post, but it's Gary at the moment.

Both Val & I are great believers in http://en.wikipedia....w_of_attraction

Sometimes though, you doubt things, but overall we remain very positive. Best of luck to you. I don't know whether to blame California or Texas for this mess!!

I just posted this update on the July-filer thread:

If you are a July-filer at TSC and haven't heard any updates since November, you may want to contact your congressman.

My husband contacted his congressman and received word today that our file will be processed within 45 days and go to NVC in about 2 months.

In spite of all the email and letters from TSC, our congressman's office found that our file had never been touched.

Thankfully, our case is now moving forward. If all goes well, I'll get my visa in October - just as if we had applied in November instead of July.

rofl.gif I was using my endless optimism to hope we'd got away from that! LOL

i actually got offline last night before my OCD/accounting brain kicked in and began calculating 35,000 petitions / 3 every other week, with me being at the tail end of that by my theory of TSC beginning last petitions first...:wacko:

NEVER!!!!

 bwahahahahaha

actually i used to be that "pollyanna always put a smile on no matter how bad people crapped on me" person... and now i see what my first ex meant. people see soemone they can use and abuse, take advantage of, walk all over and smile as they walk away with your money in their hand after youve just given then eveyrthing, done everything for them, and you're left going what the heck just happened - i was NICE/GOOD to them?!

SCREW THAT.

This is the new improved me. and i'm beginning to like it

when my husband and i first used to talk we would have long discussions about everything but one that i recall was about revenge and forgiveness.... he took the side of revenge and i? the side of turning the other cheek... now we hold the opposite views. funny how 2.5yrs time can change your view

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Ya, just to clarify, I'm definitely not talking about not taking action or letting anyone walk all over another person. I'm mad as hell about what's going on. I'm just saying that I find myself thinking negative thoughts like "I'm not sure my stepson will even be here by the summer, or even be here to start school in the fall!" and "I'm concerned we will be stuck at TSC for another 6-12 months" and "What if I never hear anything back ever, and my family will never get to live together under one roof?!" I find that all of my negative talk just gives me anxiety, and it's also putting those negative thoughts out in to the universe. I am definitely taking action... I filed for an expedite in December and was approved, and I'm actively working with my congressional liaison who has been excellent. But my negative thoughts and expressions aren't going to get me anywhere, so I'm going to put more hopeful things out there into the world. Instead of "I'm concerned"... it's "I'm looking forward to us being under one roof" and "I'm excited to get my approval soon." If thoughts become things, then I'm going to focus my thoughts on what I want to happen. Hey, it's not for everyone, and that's cool. :)

Awesome News Val & Gary. I would very much like to see your APPROVAL.

Do you think - should I send the email to TSC now or wait another week, since my 5 months from the priority date be next Friday?

Looking forward to see both of y'all smile and happiness. You deserve it most!
