Hey gang, I just caught up with the day's posts- I'm in good spirits thanks to you guys, as always wishing for the best for all of us. Cheers! :thumbs:

USCIS - 203 days

08/09/2010: NOA1 (I-130) Received text & email with case number

02/28/2011: Received NOA2 hard copies of approval for I130 and I129F

NVC

03/02/2011: NVC Case Number Assigned, received IIN #

06/06/2011: AOS and IV received at NVC

06/21/2011: NVC Case Complete

08/24/2011: Embassy Interview

09/14/2011: Visa granted

09/18/2011: POE Houston!!!

Total time from beginning to end: 406 days (1 year, 1 month, 10 days)

If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

We all can do the happy dance soon :dance: Thank you all for giving me hope, especially after that letter that told me it would be 9-12 months...I havent cried many times in my life, but that one got to me. Lets all keep our fingers crossed and try to stay positive and proactive. Goodbye for now my family!

Yesterdays approvals came through at 7.15pm EST, 12.15am GMT.

45 minutes to go.

There IS a school of thought though, that says approvals are only sent out on Wednesday & Friday, so SqdGns and Xelance may have to wait a while longer.

I'm sticking around for a while though....good.gif

it says the same thing as mine and sqdguns's, we hope it is good news. Ours did not say additional review either..ours just said that the file will be requested from records for review.

the only emails i'm getting (and getting a bunch) look like SPAM! from USCIS! looks like someone has let a monkey loose and it's pushing a bunch of wrong keys :crying:

i've gotten emails on how to apply for grants and all kinds of BS and quite franly getting PISSED at getting emails that have nothing to do with my petition but from USCIS

here's most recent:

FY 2011 Citizenship and Integration Grant Program funding opportunities are now available

oh! yesterday i forgot to mention how they sent out 2 emails bragging on how happy everyone is with their service:

E-Verify’s customer service operation scored 89 on ACSI’s customer satisfaction scale. E-Verify scored 82 overall, well above the federal government’s average of 69.

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.
