The first two approvals in this thread came at 10:30 on a Thursday night. The last 3 came at 6:30 on a Wednesday. One thing they have in common is on a given night all came around the same time. At least I think they're coming at once per evening when they refresh their system. I would guess that there are more VJers who got approved last night but have not posted yet or will skip posting all together. I think that their estimates are correct, at this rate they should finish processing all 35,000 applications in 60 - 90 days or so. I would not get hopes up that everybody here is approved this week.

If anyone gets approved today they won't get an email/text until next week, anyway. There seems to be lag between having your petition approved and receiving the notice about it.

Of course, we here are a relatively small sample compared to the whole 35,000. That's why I'm afriad to extrapolate our VJ approval rate to the whole and I'm relatively conservative about my expectations. Just the fact that we had just one approval last week, and 3 so far this week, makes me think that approvals are still rare events. They told me 5-months and it's been 6 now. Lately they told me to wait 60 days. That being said, I'll still be going to bed tonight with my cell phone under my pillow.

Good record keeping there fermat. There were no doubt people who were approved on Tuesday also, but we have to realise we are a relatively small group here on VJ. I suspect out of the 35,000 applications, around fifteen per cent may be I129F's, so that actually brings the figure down that they have to approve. It does seem to be the case that batch processes are run at certain times of day. I found it interesting that all yesterdays approvals were actually approved on the 14th January, and it makes me wonder if TSC have got a whole stack of petitions already approved, and just waiting to be in putted into their batch processes. Remember when they first received our petitions from CSC, it took them around 20 days to get them on the system. I also keep noticing emails (and we have had one in the past), which say After we update our database, your application will be assigned to an officer.

I agree with you, I do not think we'll all be approved this week - my gut says we will hear very little today, but I DO think things are moving now, and by mid February, I feel we should all be done and dusted.

Here is my guess at what is going on Jenny.

TSC have a stack of approved petitions, but they need inputting onto the system, and then getting ready to be sent to NVC. I think yesterday, with yours for example, like Skynaut before you, you managed to attract the attention of an officer, who, as stated in the email PULLED your file from the stack of approvals, and then had it in putted onto the system. In other words, you were already approved on the 14th, as was Ricky, but your persistence drove them to getting your records into the system.

That's my guess for what it's worth....

I agree, I think that's what's going on. Have you tried calling to speak to Officer Garza? A lot more of us may be approved and it's just taking them a bit to update the system. I hope that's the dealio! :)

That MAY be something Val is going to do. The problem is Officer Garza appears to work at TSC, and we have no way of getting through to TSC.

I have feeling that those who got answer like "your petition is undo final review", "ordered to processing" will get good news very soon, maybe within 2 weeks. you shouldnt worry. Those who got auto reply like "we got your petition", "we actively processing" they will wait longer their turn.

you can worry.

PS: So miss my husband :(. dont remember when i smiled last time and when went out. SKype is our life now, every day all free time is in skype with him.

worries and headache are the part of life now. My mom tryed yesterday cheer me up saying "Oh, you are young, you should enjoy life... ". How???

what if they mess, what if they deny, what if something bad happens...

nobody outside this topic knows what we feel :(
