Oh, and this is what the email from USCIS says:

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On January 14, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Things are happening!! But I won't be completely happy until the rest of you are approved! Seriously- we're all in this together.

3/02/11 - DS-3032 : Email accepted

3/04/11 - IV bill invoiced (e-mail at 2:30 AM) and paid

3/07/11 - IV payment status "PAID"

3/08/11 - AOS and IV packet sent

3/22/11 - AOS in the system and reviewed that triggered false RFE for IV packet

3/28/11 - DS-230 in the system and SIF

3/29/11 - Case Completed at NVC

4/13/11 - Interview date assigned

5/17/11 - Interview- Approved

5/18/11 - Passport & Visa Picked up from VFS Delhi

If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

My hair is now standing on end!!!!!!!

As I was writing the last post a few minutes ago my text alert went off !!!

So I went to my account to check and:

"On January 14, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I most sincerely hope and pray that this means that approvals are forthcoming for all.

This is a sweet payoff for me as I have been busy emailing and calling Senators, Congress people, newspapers, TV, and other media about our plight for weeks now.

I may never know for sure if all of the prodding actually did anything one way or the other. I would like to believe that others actions have made an impact, I hope that mine did as well.

I must now call my wife!!!

I wrote to my congressman earlier this month- but I'm not sure if that's what helped or if it was the email. Maybe it wasn't the email since I sent it on Friday and I got approved on that day, but it might help!

I'm still in shock but until I get my NVC case # who knows where this will go!

Officer Garza seems to be the key. We're thrilled for you Jenny. It's perked us all up, and Rickey got approved also. I wonder if todays batch processing is done, or whether we can expect more emails.

In other words, it's 12.37am here in the UK - do I go to sleep, or wait for an email!!! whistling.gif

Visited Yanzi in Shenzhen in June 2009, and visited Yanzi again in October 2009.

Married Yanzi in Shenzhen on 06-01-2010.

I visited with her and her family for 2 weeks on this trip.

I-130 Sent: 06-28-2010

NOA1 Received: 07-07-2010

Visited Yanzi in Hong Kong on Sept. 26 through Oct 3 2010.

Case "touched" on 08-27-2010 !!

Case "touched" again on 09-27-2010 !!

Case transferred from CSC to TSC on 11-01-2010.

Case touched on 11-03-2010, I assume this is TSC receiving it.

Case touched on 11-30-2010. Case "is now being processed at a USCIS office"

Case touched on 12-01-2010.

Case touched on 12-02-2010.

Case touched on 12-03-2010.

Case touched on 12-06-2010.

12-29-2010-I Filed a Service Request with USCIS Today. Last week I asked a Senator and my Congressman's office to file an inquiry on my behalf.

1-14-2011 NOA2.

This was not reflected on their website until 1-19. i received email and text on 19Th also.

Congratulations. That's 2 for 2 on those emails. If you told me it happened because you asked a Ouija board for approval I would believe you at this point.

OMG... Congrats.This is very good news...2 in one night...I think they are finally getting on the ball...I pray for more and all to be approved very soon...Just an update on mine...We were approved on the 10th and still no NVC case #...The lady told me today to wait 15 days after the approval date and they should have it...
