That's a really good idea! You should do that- hopefully you can get a hold of him/her! And I just opened up a fortune cookie and my fortune reads, "Your dearest wish will come true." Might that be a sign from the universe??? Hmmmm

JENNY...I pray to GOD that might be a sign from the Universe to you. We are all, at the moment stuck in hell. I can't even bare coming on here lately because I am so depressed about all this. I don't know what else to do except continuing to call everyone about this whole Texas fiasco!!crying.gif

You should write a song dedicated to Officer Garza. What email address did you use for TSC?

I used this one: tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov

Yup, stuck in hell, just hanging out together. Sigh. I'm usually not a positive person but I've been trying my best to keep my head on straight. But it's not easy...not in the least...

I wrote an email on January 5 to the same address and this the response I got on January 11:

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding your application. If your

inquiry is case-specific, please call and speak to one of the officers

or you can make a service request at the National Customer Service

Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283 (TTY 1-800-767-1833). This toll-free

call center has additional information and, during their specified

office hours, can connect you to live assistance in English and Spanish.

In order to make a service request and speak to a Customer Service

Representative, please follow the below instructions:

1) Call 1-800-375-5283

2) DO NOT ENTER A RECEIPT #

3) Select the prompt "1"

4) Then select the prompt "2"

5) Next select the prompt "3"

At that time you will be connected to a Customer Service Representative

and advise them you would like to make a service request. This office

only accepts an inquiry after an initial service request is made with

the National Customer Service Center. If after 30 days and you made a

service request and not received a response, you may contact us with a

referral tracking number and/or an identification number of the person

you spoke to regarding your case. This information will assist us in

better serving you.

My SR response said that my case was assigned to an officer. I believe that means it's being adjudicated. I don't want to write to this address and have them pull my file away from the officer adjudicating it. What I picture is at TSC two officers pulling my file in opposite directions until it's torn in half. Didn't your congressman say that your file was in the "Congressional Unit"? How did it get from there to 'records'? Sounds like something they maybe made up to tell dumb Congressman.

Hey, y'all- I sent an email to TSC last week requesting an update on my case and surprisingly I got a response:

Good Afternoon

Thank you for your inquiry. File will be requested from records for review.

Thank You

Thank you!! Everyone should email TSC!! It seems like it's the way to go!! Use this email: tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov.

Oh, and this is what the email from USCIS says:

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On January 14, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Things are happening!! But I won't be completely happy until the rest of you are approved! Seriously- we're all in this together.

My hair is now standing on end!!!!!!!

As I was writing the last post a few minutes ago my text alert went off !!!

So I went to my account to check and:

I most sincerely hope and pray that this means that approvals are forthcoming for all.

This is a sweet payoff for me as I have been busy emailing and calling Senators, Congress people, newspapers, TV, and other media about our plight for weeks now.

I may never know for sure if all of the prodding actually did anything one way or the other. I would like to believe that others actions have made an impact, I hope that mine did as well.
