It's like waiting for a lottery win isn't it?

I think it's only 3.30pm Texas time - I have a feeling we can get approval emails way into tomorrow morning GMT time.

You have a medical expedite. CSC could complete that in 15 days if they wanted to. I wouldn't even send originals, just the copies of what you sent originally (I-130 and Biographicals), along with copies of NOA1, Transfer notice, and expedite approval. Tell them TSC is unresponsive and you're tired of waiting. Maybe include a copy of the cashed check from your bank's website. I actually think CSC is not crazy, you will be approved quickly.

but they dont care and they dont want to, so it wont be done. the more work they do and the faster they work the more likely errors will happen which means fingers start pointing and thats never good in a govt agency.... govt agencies = slow = fact of life.

i've had to go through 2 surgeries on my heart without my husband, one emergency one where my child had to stay in hospital with me becasue no one is here! you think USCIS cares? no. rather than stress over it we just adjust.

we're working against govt agencies who dont want foreigners over here, we're working against many things in each of our families... we all have our own burdens to carry.

all we can do is just make sure they dont stack our files up in a corner and forget us for 180 days. they owe us the decency to process in a timely manner.

LOL

I was just speaking with one of the security guys in my building here in Miami, who happens to be Cuban- he shared his story of how he got to the States from Cuba on a little boat. Assuming you survive the treacherous boat trip, according to him as long as you reach U.S. soil you're good to go. He was saying that for Cubans, even in the event that they get caught, from what I understood by his broken English all they need to do is request political asylum and that's that.

according to the people i've known for many years it's not really that simple hon, i really wish it were because for less than the cost of bringing them here legally we could all just fly our loved ones and be done with this sh!t!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

for those going on and on about the transfer was supposed to speed up process = it DID, for those in Aug, Sept, Oct. ... those petitioners are happpy, TSC, CSC, and USCIS are happy.

Handful of June and we July filers are angry, sad, disappointed, sick, but overall what they did made the 2 service centers look GOOD and made the MAJORITY of petitioners happy so in the end that's what will be remembered and we few will be forgotten. we're nobody's. So unless we bring attention to this thing, it will be done agian and again to people behind us as well... we've seen it happen to people in front of us, and nothing was done. Are we going to just sit and wait for our turn and not bring attention to this problem or are you going to keep letter writing AFTER you get your approval?????

Edited by nab

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Sorry Nab, I'm in the beginning of October and as of now CSC hasn't processed squat in October that wasn't expedited. I feel for you and yours and we've been told that 5 months is the target. What they're doing I'll never know but I suspect they bit off too big of a mouthful (two months worth of aps) and now they're choking on it. Just wish they'd wash it down and be done.

I will definitely keep letter writing even after I get an approval. I also tell most people I come in contact with what has happened to us to help spread the word that way, too. Everyone that I tell about this situation is usually baffled as to why I can't bring my wife to my own country when I'm an American born citizen. I think that probably 95% of Americans would be upset if they knew what those of us who are doing this legally are going through just to get OUR FAMILY home. I thinks it's really important for us to spread word of this nonsense to all our friends, family and acquaintances to raise awareness of just how bad USCIS sucks!

So I talked to a tier 1 rep today. I told him how I was aware of the approved petitions at CSC and how I've made previous inquiries and nothing has happend. He processed a service request for me. (Last week a tier 2 denied a SR when I asked for one telling me to wait 180 days from Nov 24) Tomorrow I'm going to a senator or congressional office. Or both. I don't like emailing I need a face to face experience or even voice to voice. I might stop by the San Diego Office too, but I have a feeling they''ll turn me down without an info pass appt. Also San Diego offices are supposedly busy due to the proximity of the border, AHHHHHH!!!!! :bonk:
