3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Nice email, and yes, a very similar answer to others. The I 129F may not be a bad idea....we have one in...but...it's at TSC...

Ditto- my I 129F seems to have been lost in the abyss.

I was just speaking with one of the security guys in my building here in Miami, who happens to be Cuban- he shared his story of how he got to the States from Cuba on a little boat. Assuming you survive the treacherous boat trip, according to him as long as you reach U.S. soil you're good to go. He was saying that for Cubans, even in the event that they get caught, from what I understood by his broken English all they need to do is request political asylum and that's that.

Yes, I am sure, because of the majority religion over there in Indo, that we could spin a pretty good tale of how she was running for her life, being that she is Christian small minority!

I have actually considered this. My wife can get a Visa to fly in Mexico in a matter of days. A guy I worked with in the Philippines runs a facility in Guadalajara and makes Tijuana runs all the time to his other facility. I'm sure I could get her over the fence in no time at all. Hell, I saw a video by some guy who made a documentary about illegal border crossings and this woman was up and over the fence in 18 seconds. I bet my wife could do it in less than 10 seconds!! I watched her climb a 40ft coconut tree in her village to get me a coconut a few years back!!

Addendum: But not joking. In actuality, the case would be different because once they saw that an I-130 was filed there would be no leniency. She would be deported.
