Laurel Scott has another chat scheduled today at 11AM CST. I'm wondering if one of you could post another question. I cannot because, although I registered I'm not added to the forums yet. Something like,

"Many June/July/August 2010 I-130 filers were transfered from CSC to TSC in early November in order to "speed up processing" and are still waiting. Apparently, there was 0 capacity for TSC to begin working on I-130 at the time of transfer and 0 to no capacity today some 80 days after transfer. (We've noticed a handful of August approvals last week, no June/July approvals). Many of us are 6 or 7 months post-NOA1 date by now, still waiting. Response to inquiries at TSC range from "wait another 60 days" to "wait 7 - 9 months". Meanwhile CSC is approving September/October petitions. While USCIS may be swamped, it seems they should still be required to followe their "first-come-first-served" mandate. The decision to transfer I-130 petitions that were 3-4 months old to another Processing Center that did not have the capability to work on them to me seems like negligence. Is there any recourse for those families affected?"

Excellently worded question fermat.

OK, I asked the question on Laurels chat thread. I condensed the wording, but it is essentially your phrasing I used. I, like you, will be interested in her reply.

It would help us get noticed if some others registered on immigrate2us could also put some questions about the TSc transfer. I'll do my best to view it.

Nov stats are up on the USCIS website. Check them out here.

Looks like our TSC friends completed 400 cases that month and have 35,000+ pending.

if you havent had your daily cry-fest, listen to this...

this can be our theme song

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Which will take them 90 months if they only do 400 per month!! Ridiculous! I can see us all being scattered over the whole USA before long.

The thing is - they HAVE to go in order don't they??? Surely....

90 months! There's just no way! To get these all approved in at least 5 months time (beginning in December of last year since they didn't enter them into the system until the end of Nov.) they need to approve at least 7,200 a month. But I guess we won't be able to see if that's true until the stats are up for December.

I feel we should have some recompense for this mess. Why don't they bend the rules and allow us to DCF? I'm sure they could if they wanted...GRRRRRRRRR

They told my Senator that they did not receive my transferred case until November 27th 2010. I wouldn't extrapolate from this number.

Of the 400 completed cases, I wonder how many have made it to the NVC? Only 1 here on VJ.....Gnasher.

Perhaps we will all be transferred from TSC to CSC to "speed up processing".

It wouldn't surprise me. As fermat says though, TSC spent nearly the whole of November inputting our cases, so it's no wonder they only approved 400 cases. I'm curious as to the December figures.

They lied to us when they told us it was to speed up processing - we did, in fact, have to restart the 5 months, and it sucks big style.

Logging into Laurel Scotts chat in 40 minutes - we have a question up there.
