Well,

I feel TSC is playing with us now. I sent an accurate email regarding our case, and the fact we have a SR for expedite, AND a SR for non-action of expedite, and this is the response:

Unbelievable.,...are we supposed to open service requests upon service requests upon service requests? Most bizzarre - just a boiler-plate template - that's all we're worth... almost 6 months gone....2 months gone for expedite......

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding your application. I got that too! I was hoping for something a little more substantial (30 days, 60 days, 5 months). Today has been a rough day as far as my separation from Luc is concerned. I almost called customer service crying lol.

Yes, it's a black hole. Total waste of time contacting USCIS or TSC. They will do what they want, when they want and even government officials cannot get through to them.

Val has been in tears many times to these people - they feel sorry, but do nothing. Like I say, spouses could die through ill health, and they don't seem to care.

Very annoyed at the arrogance and audacity of that email.

You can add me to the spreadsheet of CSC->TSC transferees. Here is all the activity I've had so far on my case. (Note: I don't check for "touches").

  • Aug 21 NOA1 Notice Date (CSC) hardcopy (*)
  • Aug 16 NOA1 Priority Date (CSC) hardcopy (*)
  • Nov 02 Date of Transfer to TSC "for processing" on notification email
  • Nov 03 Notice Date on NOA hardcopy about Transfer to TSC "in order to speed up processing"
  • Nov 29 Date of "Post Decision Activity" "a USCIS office received this case from the State Department" email / web status
  • Nov 30 Notice Date on NOA hardcopy "to advise you that we have received [the petition] back from the Dept of State [for review]"

(*) Received this notice twice, for whatever reason, first postmarked Aug 24 and second postmarked Nov 03. Both are from the CSC.

Nov 30 was the last action on my case, and it was just now that I started getting worried and found this thread. I've just read all 127 pages of bad news. The optimism of this group overall is pretty remarkable, given that only one person of one hundred has really passed to the next step. It seems to me there's no telling how far out the average will be for this group, but I've moved my expectation date of obtaining my wife's visa from late March to early July, best-case scenario.

My 5-month mark from my NOA1 priority date was on Jan 13, so I've officially waited long enough to make my futile complaints, of which I will begin tomorrow.

God save us all.

So... I guess what they are telling me, is that if I don't hear anything from them before my wife is 6 weeks from giving birth to our baby, that I should take the time and call them back. Wow, I feel so warm and fuzzy thanks to that letter today. Oh well, so much for even waiting the 6 months from processing. It's just not happening. I'm truly deep in the black hole somewhere now.

** Thought I'd share it with you all... cause I needed to with someone.. guess I'll start to plan for the a plane trip to be with my wife, so that I can be there when the baby is born.

USCIS were pretty snappy today. Val called, waited 30 minutes, then the tier 2 just hung up on her.

I notice auto-responses also on TSC emails.

They will go at there own pace - there's not a lot we can do. I just hope they aren't PUNISHING the pestering ones like us by putting us to the bottom of the pile....it DOES happen.
