I did my SR on Dec 7th and I got same letter:

"Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not recieve a decision or other notice of action from us within 7-9 months of this letter, please call customer service at the number provided below."

I think this was jsut a delay letter as I havent gotten a RFE or anything, but the 7-9 month thing was a heart breaker.....

Oh, we placed SR exactly in the same day! and got the same response word by word but only with 6 monthes timeframe. I cryed whole that night

Wooooowwwww

Very Interesting.

Its been 60 to 90 days from transfer

well being transferred on November 3rd to today makes it

72 days since the CSC to TSC deal....That means if this

statement is true, that I should be approved by the 1st

of February is 90 days since the transfer.

it would make it 6 months about it it approved by Feb 4th

Will just have to wait and see I guess.

Anybody else did the math from the Transfer to NOA-2 ? ?

That has received the NOA-2 from TSC ?

Than we can get and idea if this is true or not.

Good Luck..

I'm still waiting for a response to my SR and who knows what kinda numbers they're gonna throw at me. Regardless, I'm calling them again on the 28th, which is 31 days after the SR was initiated. I wonder if I can bring my talent of crying on cue into play...I might try it.

I think you have hit the nail on the head.

I wouldn't worry too much about that timescale. They seem to be saying exactly what they want. We had something similar, but then you call again, and they say - oh, it's on an officers desk...

I don't think ANYONE, senators, lawyers, congressmen, can get any specific info from TSC. I think they will approve us when they want to, and, after the 5 approvals we've had recently, I think we are all imminent.

It's VERY frustrating though to say the least!

I still have a good gut feeling a LOT of us will get approvals in the next seven days.

They are throwing out whatever they want, just to fend us off, but the approvals will come I am sure. I think Skynaut's approval has actually cheered me up!

Well here's an interesting one...

Val just received a letter written "On behalf of President Obama" detailing and understanding the concerns we are having with our I-130 Petition.

The letter goes on to say we were passed to "AN EXAMINER" on December 28th, and can expect to receive a reply within 60 days. (Ring any bells Jenny?).

If we require an expedite for medical reasons - which we do, it asks us to fax documentation.

Well, we ALREADY HAVE an expedite approval, and have already faxed the ddocumentation in November!! UGHH!!

Well, nothing new, but at LEAST they ARE responding, and ARE trying to do something.

This letter must be in response to the email we sent to the Whitehouse.

Crossing fingers again.....

Maybe the fastest way to get things moving would be to ship the most important family member of every agent in the TSC to another country and not allow them to return until every transferred I-130 is completed and received by the NVC.....
