I am going to make copies of my two 4 I-797c notices ( I have two petitions in for wife and stepson) and the SR letter and a long letter explaining everything in detail to the top guy. I will also mention all of you guys also, but sometimes you just have to go to the top to get a fire lit under mid-level mamagement butts. But the big joke is that we are all just waiting for our petition to be approved, which actually only allowes us to get into line to apply for a visa where the real decisions are made. This part of the process should actually be the easiest as long as we or spouce are not in govt databases as being bad people. they should only be looking to see if we paid monies needed, all paperwork required, and dont show up on some database search if all those are in good standing stamp it approved attach next steps paperwork and ship on to NVC.

got a call from my congresswoman in San Diego and she told me that there were 35000 people transferred and that they could do nothing for me. They said I have to wait another 60 days...so much for any help...oh well, I am going to try other routes now.

I would like to try a new route also. Was thinking about the Mexican border route. But im afraid my wife will not like the trunk ride.

OK here is the scoop I got from the Congressional Liason from TSC a reply

to my congressman now at 11:00 Pacific Coast Time

Cameron, Matt Caseworker for Congressman Henry A. Waxman

Hi Ron,

I received an update from my Congressional liaison at TSC regarding

the inquiry that was made on your behalf. According to my liaison, they

have ordered your I-130 file which will be forwarded to their exam unit

for further processing. They have asked me to inform you that this step

in the process usually takes 45 to 60 days before you will receive a decision

or a Notice of Action, to completion or sooner. So contact me around the

last week of February, and I will do a follow up to my liaison than for you.

Im sitting here in Ukraine with my wife saying the same

thing. So im contacting the US Embassy in Kyiv, my

attorney said since I been living here more than 6 months and

I'm traveling back and forth. I should do a DCF and get my

CR-1 in 3 months instead of waiting for TSC until the end of

February since my NOA-1 was August 4th. If I wait until they reply

from TSc it make my NOA-1 to NOA-2 about 7 months or longer

just what a waste of time all these months.

So there it goes Everybody

Plan on a wait another 45 to 60 days for anybody August 4th NOA-1

before your NOA-2 according to TSC.

Good Luck.

I know other people got the same answer from TSC. I think it's just appeasement really, I think maybe this will work out before the time period. I think they've become experts at what is known in the UK as "THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL" syndrome.

Exactly. They cannot reset the clock.

If they could, we'd be going around for years through Vermont, Nebraska etc..

I can see it now in April - YOU ARE TRANSFERRED TO VERMONT, and your time starts again.....

Yes! This was supposed to be the "easiest" part of the whole process! Today someone asked me about my husband and when he was going to get here and I told them that we're still waiting for the papers to be processed and they were like, "it takes THAT long?" I was like "APPARENTLY FOR ME IT DOES." And then I ate a donut.

Has anyone else had someone tell them about a person THEY knew and how that person got THEIR family member to the states REALLY fast? I hate that. I say to myself, "and you're telling me this to make me feel more crappy then usual?..."
