How do you know when you get a touch??? :S

You can create an account on the USCIS web site. You enter in your case numbers,,, and there will be a column that reflects a "last activity" date. That date = last touched, and can be touched for a variety of reasons....most desirable of course is for approvals!

USCIS Journey (223 days):

03/31/10: Married mi hermosa angelito!

07/14/10: Notice Date (NOA1)

11/02/10: Transfer Notice (moved to TSC)

11/29/10: Touch

02/17/11: Received e-mail update - Transferring back to CSC

02/23/11: Approval!!/Post Decision Activity

03/01/11: Received hard-copy NOA2 for cases. Has been forwarded to the Dept. of State NVC!

03/09/11: Case(s) at NVC!

NVC Process (78 days)

03/10/11: Case #'s assigned! Woot!

03/31/11: 1 year wedding anniversary!

04/20/11: Attorney submitting IV application to NVC

04/21/11: DS-260 receipt confirmation e-mail received

05/25/11: Received "checklist" e-mail (asking for AOS docs...but already submitted)

05/26/11: SIF when logging-in to payment portal (all 3 cases!)

05/27/11: Case Complete!

Medical / Consulate Interview

06/03/11: Interview date scheduled for July 8, 2011 !!! Augh! Wow!

06/9&13/11: Biometrics (fingerprints) appointment

07/06/11: Physicals in Juarez - Complete!

07/08/11: Consulate Interview = Complete & APPROVED!!

07/15/11: Visa's received!

If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

I'm guessing the person doing the data entry did not pull down the menu and select CSC and that "USCIS office" is the default for this form letter. I'm guessing they made a similar mistake with the person transferred from TSC to TSC.

Yes, either that or maybe a local uscis..?!And still it should say LOCAL office uscis, hmm...destination unknown...

02/11/2010 - got married

06/28/2010 - sent I-130

06/29/2010 - received by uscis

07/06/2010 - notice NOA1

07/08/2010 - updated

07/10/2010 - got NOA1 hard copy in the mail

11/01/2010 - moved from CSC to TSC

11/02/2010 - updated

11/03/2010 - updated

11/23/2010 - updated (post decision activity)

02/09/2011 - notification moved from TSC (back to initial review :o )

02/10/2011 - confirmation TSC back to CSC!

02/16/2011 - APROVED!!!!!

NVC journey:

02/25/2011 - we're IN :)) case # Emailed DS 3032. Paid AOS Fee.

03/01/2011 - DS 3032 approved (confirmation by email)

03/02/2011 - AOS shows paied -> AOS packet mailed out

03/04/2011 - AOS received

03/07/2011 - IV generated & paid

03/09/2011 - IV paid! mailed out->

03/14/2011 - IV received

03/31/2011 - Case complete @ NVC!!!

Hey Rosa, did you talk to your lawyer about skipping NVC? I wonder how fast all these approvals are going to be shipped to NVC. I can't imagine CIS finishing all these transfer nightmares and leaving them collecting more dust than they already have. Gary what did your informant say?

02.17.2011 Case number assigned 02.18.2011 Case # & INN received. Gave email addresses. Emailed DS 3032. Paid AOS Fee 02.22.2011 AOS Fee appeared as paid. Mailed AOS. DS 3032 accepted 02.24.2011 AOS received. IV bill generated and paid 02.25.2011 IV bill fee appeared as paid. Mailed IV 02.28.2011 IV packet received 03.09.2011 AOS entered in the system 03.11.2011 IV entered in the system 03.15.2011 AVR RFE 03.16.2011 Sent RFE response. CSC -> TSC -> CSC ........?

Did anyone else get this?

I think they are going to be on them pretty soon. I don't think they will be hanging around long at Texas. good.gif

Yes, 4 others have gotten transferred back to CSC as well. Check the spreadsheet!

03/10/11- I-864/DS-230 packages received by NVC

03/24/11- case complete, forwarded to Albania

xx/xx/11- interview in Tirana (denied visa), waiver submitted

I-601 Hardship Waiver

xx/xx/11- waiver sent to Vienna for processing

xx/xx/11- visa issued (please please please)

Congrats to all approvals, I'm an august filler and I checked that only july and june are being approved but this is fair :)

2 people got emails tonight with an approval notice that were August filers. And there have been no June filers approved so far. Only July and August filers have gotten approved so far.
