I'm so lost and I need help! My fiance is Indian and had been in Britain for 3 years on a student visa, unfortunately his passport will be stamped as overstayed in the UK due to many faults in the system including loss of his paperwork in the mail.

I will be going to India in January and will hopefully be marrying him at that time, my question is what do we need to do to make this as quick and smooth as possible and how will his overstay be seen by the US?
